When The Controversial Organ Is Cut Off
Interestingly Kenyans have been involved in numerous incidents that have gained world attention concerning the severing of the penis. Kenyan Alfonse Mumbo gained worldwide fame in 2003 when he cut off his own penis and testicles so as to punish his wife for adultery. Then in 2005 Spanish surgeons successfully reconstructed the penises of two Kenyan boys taken to them by the controversial Dr Ken Jones. Witchdoctors making a portion that was supposed to cure HIV/AIDs had cut off the organs in a Kenyan village.

But severed penises are not new to the world. The penis of Napoleon was cut off and preserved after his death and some years later sold to a urologist for the princely sum of $40,000.

Then came the most famous of all the cases in 1993 when American Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband John Wayne Bobbitt's penis with a kitchen knife. The story ended well for both couples because the organ was successfully attached and Mr Bobbitt made a lot of money from the incident including a stint as a porn star. A court ruled that his wife be sentenced to 45 days hospitalization due to a successful temporary insanity plea by her lawyers.

On July 1, 1997, a Vietnamese immigrant in British Columbia, Ms. Kim Phuong Tran severed her husband's penis after he admitted to being in love with another woman. Kim Phoung Tran kept on telling her husband not to have the mistress, but her threatening pleas fell on deaf ears. Instead the husband told his wife that he needed to be left alone so he could think. He then fell asleep and his wife promptly cut off the offending penis, and immediately flushed it down the toilet. It was never recovered. Ms. Tran was sentenced to a two-year conditional stay-at-home sentence with community service. Many men's rights groups in Canada were outraged at the lightness of her sentence.

In another very similar incident a woman in a Far Eastern country whose name I forget attached her husband's severed penis to a hot air balloon and released into the air. The intention appears to have been the same as that of Ms Tran, because if buried at a secret location, these things can always be exhumed so the idea seems to make them disappear altogether. Naturally the hot air balloon and its' bloody cargo were never seen nor heard of again.

Other women have come up with even more ingenious ways to ensure that the offending organ is never found again. In July 23 2005, Delmy Ruiz (49) who was jealous because her husband was having an affair lured him to the house they owned together under the pretext that there were some documents they needed to look at together. Her husband Rene Aramando Nuñez fell asleep at the house and Ruiz cut off his penis with a knife. The penis was then removed from the scene by a dog enthusiastically wagging its' tail, never to be seen again. Ruiz was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined $10,000.

Then out of Russia, as is to be expected came the most bizarre incident involving a penis in January 2002

On July 23, 2005, Delmy Ruiz, 49, was found guilty of aggravated assault after she had severed Rene Aramando Nuñez' penis with a knife. Ruiz said he had abused her earlier, but it was believed that she was really just jealous because he was seeing someone else. She lured him over to the house to talk about documents concerning the house that they owned together. He fell asleep while at the house. That is when she cut off his penis. The jury had been shown graphic photos of Nuñez' wounded crotch where more than 80% of his penis was completely removed save for a small stump. The penis was never recovered as it had been removed from the scene by her dog. 

In January 2002, In Russia, Pavel Morozov, a player of Spartak football was brutally murdered by his friend's girlfriend because he didn't want to have sex with her. The friend invited Pavel over to his house to drink vodka with him and his girlfriend. The girlfriend became interested in Pavel especially as she got more and more intoxicated. She then made advances towards Pavel when her boyfriend and gone out briefly. Pavel didn't reciprocate so she became upset and started hitting him and screaming. It is said that Pavel ended up unconscious on the floor. The girlfriend then unzipped his trousers and quickly cut off the non-complying organ. She then also stabbed him in the chest. Pavels body was then thrown out in the street. At some point her boyfriend came back and the two continued drinking as if nothing had happened. They were however arrested in the morning.

In 2004, in Kassel, Germany, a 50 year old woman severed the penis of her Ghanaian ex-husband but died as a result of wounds inflicted by the same knife. The man's organ was later retrieved from the same room in which she died, though it is unknown as to whether it was re-attached or not.

In October 2004, Dr. Naum Ciomu chopped patient Nelu Radonescu's penis into small pieces in a fit of anger during routine surgery. He was later found guilty of grievous bodily harm, fined and received a 1 year suspended jail sentence for the attack. The victim ultimately had reconstructive surgery using tissue from his arm.

Let us end this gory article with an incident that was featured in the notorious Jerry Springer talk show in the 90s. A man who appeared on the show confessed that he had badly desired to become a woman and so severed his own penis and after doing so, hid it from his wife. What a strange world full of sick people we live in.

Woman Reveals Nasty Men Habits Nobody Talks About

Research by a woman friend has revealed some rather nasty habits Kenyan men tend to have but which are rarely if ever discussed.

As usual, here in Kumekucha we do not fear to discuss anything. Being well aware of the inevitable reaction we will get from our male readers, here goes.

Men from mostly Western Kenya, are fond of this very irritating habit. Have you ever been close to a man that constantly holds and touches their private parts in public? As they are talking to you, as they are reading a newspaper and even as they talk into their cell phone? They cap them, caress them and do all sorts of disgusting things to them in full public view. A woman may get very wrong signals from a man they meet for the first time and maybe read some mischief in this habit. But the truth is that, they are used to this habit and it does not matter if they are talking to President Kibaki or the maid, they just can't help touching themselves constantly as they speak.

What about men who constantly pick their nose? I knew one who would follow up the activity occasionally by examining the contents of what they had extracted from deep inside their nose and then they would toss it into their mouth and start chewing at it. Yuck!

Then there are those men that some unfortunate women date who talk with their mouths full of food. More so food that they have already chewed. Naturally this would make anybody seated on the same table promptly lose their appetite.

My lady contact describes a rather intimate encounter where her man woke up and put his underwear that they had tossed on the side of the bed the night before close to his face to blow his nose. And specifically the area that holds the backside. Yuck. The horrible things that women have to put up with!

But what beats all these descriptions of nasty men habits is the tale told by a friend about an American business partner that visits once a year to check out the business they run with her husband. The guy is some sort of miser and despite being a millionaire always lives with them in the house for the month or so that he is around instead of staying at a hotel. The Interesting thing is that he loves Kenyan food like sukuma wiki, Ugali and even Githeri.

Now this white American guy (married with teenage children) leaves all his clothes to be washed by the maid, including his underwear. And it is this latter piece of clothing that caused so much trouble recently to the point where the house help wanted to suddenly leave her employment. Trouble started when the maid who was only a few weeks old on the job was given the American business partner's clothes to wash including his under wear (Americans wear boxer shorts) and noticed that the man obviously did not wipe himself properly after a visit to the toilet. There were clear smelly signs of this on the underwear. The new maid was not amused.

But the American had been visiting for at least four years or so. Meaning that the previous maid washed the stuff without any complaints. Like many wives do for Kenyan husbands who were never toilet-trained properly when they were young.

The bad habits that women have to bear in their men are numerous, only that most choose not to talk about them.

It was called the crime of passion of the century, and it caused quite a media frenzy. A white woman fell in love with her best friends' husband, went to South Africa and purchased a pistol and returned to personally murder her best friend in cold blood so that she could have her husband all to herself. Police suspicion was aroused because hardly had the dead woman been buried, her killer was already spending nights of passion with the man. The cops got their woman and she was hanged for the crime. Initially her lover was charged alongside her but was later acquitted for lack of evidence.

This incident happened in Gaberone, Botswana a few years back.

Then there was the sad case in Kenya where this woman fell madly in love with this man, but there was one hitch, her 7-year-old son from a previous tryst. Her new lover hated him and thought that she should get rid of him by packing him off to his grandmother's or something. The woman had a "better" idea. She drowned him in a drum of water in the house.

And there are many other crimes of passion that women commit. Maybe we should mention just one that was less deadly. This man's girlfriend discovered that he was giving too many lifts in his car to a certain particular pretty young something in the estate. She was so angry that she got a knife and slashed all the tires of his car.

So what was with these women? Were they crazy or what?

Actually science has now proved that when a man and a woman hop into bed for some action, their bodies do not react the same afterwards. We all know that men have since time immemorial pulled off that stunt of wham-bhang-thanks-mum and the next minute they will probably never even remember her name. Scientists have now discovered that when women have sex, they release a hormone called oxytocin (also called the "cuddle hormone"). Some scientific researchers are convinced that this hormone makes women feel extra warm and fuzzy for their sex partners.

This explains why women feel so infuriated when the man turns over and starts snoring loudly immediately after the act, when they would prefer him to cuddle them and keep on whispering sweet nothings into their ear.

It also explains the common sequence in most would-be relationships where women do the deed too soon and end up making too much of a relationship that barely existed off the bed. When the woman ends up inflating the relationship the man does what men do best—they bolt.

Here’s a quick tip from a very experienced man in these things to all you women reading this. The more you delay dropping your pants for him, the more his love for you will grow. It seems to me that when a man wants to sleep with a woman and he cannot, a hormone is released that makes him feel warm and fuzzy towards her and over time this causes him to go crazy with love (mixed with lust) over her. From the description of the condition, I am convinced that this is a spiritual problem (sorry all you medical-science-has-all-the-answers types, although you are most welcome to leave your comments here, no matter how critical they are of my views).

Many young women are married off in the spiritual realm and yet they have no idea. A marriage in the spiritual realm is much more powerful than a marriage in the physical realm. This is why we have cases like this other one I know about where this young lady has had her fiancés break engagements with her at least twice under very strange circumstances and literally at the eleventh hour. I believe that they were “discouraged” by the young lady's jealous husband or husbands in the spiritual realm.

The sure signs that you have been married off in the spiritual realm and could have your marriage in the real world badly jeopardized, is if you dream you are pregnant, or sweeping a house or sometimes suckling a child and yet you do not have children. These are activities that you are actually undertaking in your "spiritual" home and marriage. Even so called wet dreams of having sex are pretty suspect.

This is not a joking matter and can have fatal consequences, because many women get very frustrated without knowing what exactly the problem is. Especially those who believe that medical science always has the answers.

Marital rape is an issue that is not discussed enough and yet from the kind of letters I have been receiving for a long time, it is a huge problem in Kenya.

My initial reaction is that this is a typical man who does not understand women and is probably not really interested in doing so. Which marriage does not have a problem of an oversexed man (other times it is an oversexed woman)? However the problem mainly arises when it is the man who has excess libido. More often than not they will fail to control themselves and end up forcing themselves on their poor exhausted wives. This is rape, no matter what angle you look at it from.

My fellow men are notorious for their ignorance where women are concerned. They fail to realize that the cardinal rule is that a woman is like a bank account. You take out exactly what you have put in… and maybe some interest after a long time. Even your wife of 20 years is still a woman and would not mind a little "bribery" to put her into the mood. A box of her favorite chocolates. Flowers on another day other than the usual Valentines (just because everybody else is giving flowers) and so on. How about washing dishes and reducing her load when she comes from work on that D-Day? I realize that what I am suggesting here is not African, but then what is African?

I have reformed but in the days when I was known as "bad news Kamau" I went through many Kikuyu women and they are all the same. Boring, stare at the ceiling waiting for something to happen and generally cold when they should be hot, detached when they should show some enthusiasm, silent when they should cry out and generally emit noises that can encourage better performance and without which plan B, which usually takes the whole episode to a higher level, can never be executed. I think that is the reason why I am not married to a fellow Kikuyu despite the best efforts of my good mum (bless her soul) in launching a serious Moi-project-Uhuru on me, in an attempt to impose a certain candidate for wife.

Some of my older friends say that the whole problem stems from the fact that many Kikuyus still circumcise their women, which is designed to kill sexual desire. I do not agree because many other tribes circumcise their women and they are still hot with a capital H. The Masai is one example. And another which I once had a personal unforgettable experience with, are the Merus. Wow!!

This Kikuyu beauty of yours, if she really exists, is the problem and now she is trying to pass the buck to Kikuyu men. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Kikuyu men and I believe that they are amongst the best in the market because apart from being good providers of which there is no argument about, we are also sensitive and skillful lovers.

The problem for centuries, has always been with our women. I believe that one of the reasons that causes our women to be so cold is that a very large percentage of them are gold diggers. Money comes first and it is what turns them on and probably off at times. I say off, because sometimes their minds wander off to what they are going to do with the guy's cash. I have been inspired to write this from a comment that I saw in a discussion forum based on the article you did on why the Masai are such good lovers that mzungus come from very far looking for them.

Some Kikuyu woman (we know our men best) raised hell at the discussion forum when she advised Kikuyu men to read the article and learn something. I do not understand what all the fuss was about because what she said was true.

I have been trying to think very hard as to what the problem may be with our Kikuyu men. Yes, they are such good providers and shrewd entrepreneurs and businessmen (not like my former Mkamba man who was very good—at you know what—but wanted us to spend our entire lives in bed. He was just too comfortable with me paying all the bills, which naturally did not go down well with yours truly.

Is it that our Kikuyu men are thinking about business all the time (like the Mkambas seem to be thinking about how to please a woman all the time?). A married friend of mine tells me that she cannot identify with wives who complain about being pestered by husbands who expect them to switch into the mood the way somebody flips channels on a TV using a remote. For her she is the one who does the pestering and she ends up getting the excuse that her Kikuyu man is too tired and a whole month goes by like that. She even joked that if it was possible for that place to grow cobwebs then hers would be packed with the stuff from weeks and sometimes even months of neglect.

I am well aware that we are trying to fight tribalism in Kenya, but is it a coincidence that all my Kikuyu lovers have been more than useless? Actually bure kabisa. Foreplay is something that most Kikuyu men have never heard of. Frantic gropers (who never find the place—you know what place) is the best description I can give of their best attempts at foreplay. It is usually over before you even realize that anything has actually started.

What makes the whole thing worse is that they are very serious talkers when it comes to these matters. Listening to them one would think that they know what they are talking about. Alas, this is not the case, they almost always end up being bitter disappointments. How many times have I been left staring at the roof as the loud snores coming from the huffer and puffer sleeping next to me make sleep impossible?

Part of the problem, I think is from a kind of selfish streak (this is not for the consumption of those silly ODM-Kenya promoters littering the web who may want to pounce on this detail to prove that the Kikuyu are selfish when it comes to political leadership) I have noted in most Kikuyu men. In the early dates they stare and tend to be very attentive, even asking intelligent questions and repeating quite often how beautiful you are. In retrospect, I can say they always seem to be too perfect; something has to be wrong or not quite right when things seem to be too perfect. Now I know, from experience, what these Kikuyu men are usually thinking about when they pretend to be so attentive. They are probably just imagining and fantasizing about that anticipated moment between the sheets. Because the moment it is over, they will never pay any attention to anything you have to say, again, EVER.

I wonder when they will learn the truth that for a woman, the attention she gets from her man long before, before and after are the keys to "unlocking her." I anticipate many defensive answers from the culprits but what I have said is nothing but ukweli mtupu. If there is to be any hope for our Kikuyu men then it will have to start with a confession from their hearts, very similar to what happens at alcoholics anonymous. They must say: My name is Njoroge Wa Maheni and I am a woman's worst nightmare (bure kabisa) in bed. That is where the healing will start. Long before some lessons from the Masai and Kambas.

African Safari Country Gory Scene As Lions Fail To Find Usual Prey

What do you think happens when there is a big drought in African safari country and lions can't find their traditional prey? You probably don't have the stomach for the answer. Nor for the spectacle that results.

A BBC crew was in African safari country recently and managed to film a rather gory scene that required lots of editing before it could pass, barely, for family viewing. Folks back from a safari where they saw lions in parts of Africa hunting elephants had sounded off the film crew. Elephants are huge animals and it is difficult to imagine even powerful lions hunting them.

It emerges that in the biting drought in parts of Africa, lions have been left with little option but to hunt the much larger prey in groups of 15 lions or more. They carefully isolate a single elephant usually a weaker or younger one. They then pounce on it. Now, typically a lion kills it's prey first by breaking its' neck with a powerful swipe of its' paw or by using it's powerful jaws to crush the spinal chord. However this is hardly viable with an elephant. The consequence is that the lions eat most of the elephant when it is still alive. In fact some of the eating is done when the elephant is still on its' feet. One piece of editing that the BBC crew had to do was turn down the screams of pain from the elephant as it was eaten alive by over 15 hungry lions.

Fortunately this practice is not too widespread, as few would have the stomach for such a spectacle, even on Television. In most of lion safari country in Africa these kings of the jungle still hunt much smaller prey, which would be much more exciting and less upsetting to watch.
