As the police supposedly continue to win their war against crime, a child disappeared on Sunday in the Baba Dogo area of Nairobi and the mother has been looking everywhere for the 3 year old boy.
Her search ended yesterday on the banks of Nairobi River when a hawker in search of maize to sell stumbled upon the body parts of what remained of the boy. It is not clear who informed the mother and she arrived at the scene before the police arrived to remove the body, to confirm that the head was indeed that of her missing son. Naturally she could not be consoled.
These are the kind of incidences that rogue TV stations like KTN air, that is not part of the careful my-men-returned-fire script that is now polluting airwaves. Many other similar incidences are happening all over the country as hapless Kenyans are kept busy fighting amongst themselves on behalf of their so-called favored presidential candidates most of whom are known thieves of public funds and characters fond of seeking refuge in the national assembly toilets when matters of national importance are being put to the vote in the August house.
The incident raises just too many questions. Top on the list is why? Children are innocent, so what was this youngster being punished for? And even if the action was targeted at the mother, a slum dweller, what was the motive? People usually kidnap children of the rich so as to get some sort of ransom. The woman involved has nothing. So why kidnap and kill her baby?
The only theory that comes anywhere near being plausible is that this is part of the politically motivated violence spreading countrywide ahead of the elections. Heads are cut to send a message and put fear in people so that they are easily manipulated by threats.
I urge you to do something now. Kindly take 3 minutes today to send out a few emails (see details here).

What Happened To The Wife After This FM Encounter?

Guest Column
Your guess is as good as mine over what the fate of the Kenyans talked about the following guest column was. This piece is fropm a lady who runs a blog called Jamii ya Kenya. Visit her blog and leave some encouraging remarks there. Let us promote everything Kenyan, especially our ladies who have so far mostly "chickened out" of leaving comments here (but I know they read);
Please Style Up
In the morning and evening switching on to some FM stations in Kenya and you hear something like this:
We are talking about Jane (not her real name), she is complaining that she's been denied conjugal rights by her husband for 2 months now. She is now wondering what to do and even contemplating getting into an affair with another man.
People are asked to call with advice and comments, some comments are very nasty like a man asking her to look for him, he can do the work very well, some lady advising her to get into an affair and so many more.
The other example is a lady calling another station saying she doesn't trust her husband or boyfriend so the lady presenter decides to call the man, pretending to be calling from a company to present the man with tickets for a romantic night for two. He will then be asked whether he will be going with his wife or girlfriend, the man not aware that he is being busted like the name of the program, will declare that he is not married and will be taking his girlfriend with him. He will be asked to repeat and he will do so not knowing that the wife is listening on the other side, at that point he will be asked are you sure you are not married then they will connect the wife and tell her you heard. An argument will ensue between husband and wife on air until the man decides to disconnect.
As much as relationships have problems and a lot of marriages are not working, I don't think this is the right channel to address or solve such issues. There are counselors all over, one can even go to their religious leaders for counseling and advice. Friends and family can also come in but not FM stations.
My appeal to woman and men who take this option to solve their problems,

How Rampant Lawlessness In Kenya Today Started From The Top
archive
Yesterday a mysterious fire broke out at a primary school in Kawangware. Despite several frantic calls to the fire department and their assurance that they were on the way, they did not arrive until well over an hour when the fire had already done a lot of damage. The mob that had gathered around went berserk and started throwing stones at the fire engine and pelting the firemen with everything they could lay their hands on.
Most of readers pointed out quite correctly the inhuman manner in which an adulterous woman and her lover were paraded stark naked in the streets in broad daylight after being caught red handed in the act. (see photographs for yourself. Be warned they are quite explicit).
At the same time, we know that various private armies and terror groups have taken over parts of the country and have caused several deaths. Kenyans have forgotten about Mount Elgon but terror still reigns there. And closer to the city, there is fear and dread of Mungiki.
Then we have a leading daily newspaper, which on suspecting that their former crime editor was involved in some undesirable campaign against them, took the law into their own hands and had him arrested by police. They chose this path rather than file charges against him in court (if they had the evidence). It was mainly due to the hue and cry and protests by many of you readers in this blog that the matter was abandoned. But now it seems that Muiruri may be in trouble again after writing a letter to all MPs urging them to pass the media bill after saying one or two things about the troubles he has had with his former employers and some police bosses.
All this incidences are related (be patient and I will explain in a minute) and have something to do with mounting lawlessness in the country as we head to the general elections. There is genuine fear that if this is what we are seeing now, then we will need divine intervention to have a country still intact after the polls.
I talked to a police officer today and our conversation went something like this;
Policeman: If there was a place where I would go and return after the elections, I could have quickly gone there.
Kumekucha: Why? What shall we ordinary folks expected to do if you policemen, our protectors, are scared?
Policeman: We policemen are mere mortals like you and we can also be killed. What I will do on elections day (if we get there) is to vote very early in the morning and then I'll lock myself in the house the whole day.
Lawlessness starts from the top and has now trickled down to the common man. This is how it happens.
i) Highest authority in the land ignores court order and goes ahead to grab KICC from its; rightful owners. Available records clearly show that contrary to popular belief, Kanu the political party are the rightful owners of the building, which was built with funds organized for by the late Tom Mboya. This is just one example. On many other occasions the government has ignored court orders and gone ahead and done as they have pleased.
ii) Right on cue a cabinet minister becomes a law unto herself and harasses members of the press for making comments about a curious incident where she was carjacked while with a popular Catholic church priest at an ungodly hour of the night. The same cabinet minister pushes for the prosecution (obviously using her influence) of an alternative press editor who dared to publish a story in similar vein.
iii) A prosperous businessman who is owed some cash by another struggling small business bribes policemen at Kamukunji police station to arrest the person and lock them up without trial well beyond the stipulated 48 hours until their relatives can scramble around doing quick fundraisers to raise the debt which now also includes the hefty bribe given to the OCS. It is not good to owe people money that you can't pay, but this is a civil case and there are procedures to be followed before somebody can be committed to civil jail. They are ignored as the businessman is a law unto himself just as leading daily newspaper was a law unto itself sending policemen to arrest its' former employee, searching his office without a search warrant and with absolutely no evidence—only suspicions and bile potent enough to kill several hundred chickens.
iv) The same prosperous businessman has failed to pay his workers, especially the ones who worked on the unpaid job. But even after getting his money (the guy was a guest of the state at the police cells for about a week before the cash could be raised), he refused to pay his workers one of whom walks every day from Kawangware to the business premises in the Kilimani area to check whether his payment is ready. Ironically what the amount the poor Kenyan is chasing is triple what this businessman spends at a well known up-market watering hole (also in the Kilimani area) on a good Friday night. The worker tries to go to the labor office and several visits later is even forced to bribe the labor officer. The labor guys visit the businessman once and the matter ends there. They keep on giving false promises. It is not clear whether they were bribed or just intimidated by the businessman.
vi) The common man at the bottom of this vicious food chain takes every opportunity to be a law unto themselves because that is the example leaders are leading with. Nobody respects the law so how do we expect the common man to respect it? Why are we surprised when there is so much lawlessness in the country? Why do we even raise an eyebrow when wananchi stone firemen answering an emergency call?
Meanwhile every day we see monotonous, carefully packaged stories in the media that are designed to convince us that the police are winning the war against crime. Always the news clips are the same of gangsters gunned down by police, always with the same looking guns recovered. Right on cue the police commissioner tells us the same thing;
"We have identified the other culprits, we know who they are. My officers are pursuing them. It is only a matter of time…"
That's Kenya for you and a police force that is winning the war against crime amid rising lawlessness and insecurity.
Methinks that this is just window dressing to be used in election campaigns later this year to prove that the government has a handle on the situation. The truth, I assure you, you cannot handle.
The truth is that the battle and the war were lost a long time ago. And it all started at the top.

Muiruri, Police Commissioner And State House: What Is The Link?
archive
Stephen Muiruri is a very secretive person. One quickly gets the impression that this guy is carrying a lot of secrets within him. What do you expect after the guy has served 11 years as a crime reporter and crime editor with a busy daily newspaper?
Pointed questions from me trying to unravel a mystery that I have been trying to pursue for months now has led me nowhere. My conclusion is that the man is greatly feared because of what he knows. My advice to him (because I am sure he will read this) is to come out and reveal the information he has. Spill the beans because you will be much safer that way.
From my investigations so far I can only conclude that this bombshell information has something to do with a top policeman, a well known Nairobi businesswoman and their link to State house and a recently appointed chief executive officer of a leading media house. Somewhere in there lies the story of the century. My instincts are rarely wrong on these matters and I have a feeling it is the sort of story that the players will stop at nothing to keep out of the public domain.
In other words, the guy knows too much. And that is why every time he writes one of those lengthy harmless-looking open letters of his, a number of characters go ballistic.

Stop The Political Violence In Kenya
archive
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
What Is The Stop Political Violence Campaign All About?
The Stop the Political Violence initiative is the brain child of patriotic Kenyans from across the political divide and hailing from every imaginable tribe you can think of in Kenya who have come together at the Kumekucha blog to quit being idlers and to do something about the escalating politically motivated violence in Kenya.
Who said the violence in Kenya is politically motivated?
This is obvious due to various factors. The first question you must ask yourself is why does the violence only start when there is a general election around the corner? The trend has been unbroken since 1991/2 on to 1996/7 and 2001/2 and now 2006/7. Newspapers in Kenya have also clearly documented the origins and growth of the notorious Mungiki which can all be linked to prominent politicians in the country.
What Are The Objectives of the SPV campaign?
Simply to create awareness with the ultimate intention of putting a stop to the political violence in Kenya that mainly affects poor and disadvantaged Kenyans. We have a clear strategy of how to go about this but we also welcome ideas for consideration from other like-minded patriotic Kenyans.
My participation or lack of participation, as one individual will hardly have an impact.
You're wrong. Supposing everybody had the same attitude as you do, what would happen? This initiative would not even have started. In fact Kenya is in a mess today because we have all had this attitude in the past. So we watched as corruption grew until it is now stifling the very life out of our country. You owe it to your children and grandchildren, if not to yourself, to join this noble non-partisan campaign to force positive change in Kenya.
How Can I participate?
It is very easy because there are just two very simple things you need to do.
1) Write as many letters of protest as you can to any media house locally or Internationally that covers news on Kenya. Included in this list are other blogs and websites. Email us a copy of your letters to umissedthis at yahoo dot com (written like this to avoid robots scanning the net for email addresses to use for spamming purposes) and indicate how many letters you have written and delivered. We will regularly keep track of that figure by publishing the top 5 campaigners (and later the top 10, top 20 and top 50) as our numbers grow.
2) Convince as many other people as possible to join in the campaign and keep count of your successful introduction. As soon as the person you have introduced sends off their first letter, email the details to us as well as how many friends you have convinced to join in the campaign so far. We will also keep track of top referrers at the Kumekucha blog. Use the same email address; umissedthis at yahoo dot com (written like this to avoid robots scanning the net for email addresses to use for spamming purposes)
Here is an example of a letter you can send out via email to your friends asking them to join us in this noble venture
Dear
I hope you are well.
This is a short note of appeal to you to join a very noble initiative to campaign against political violence in Kenya, which has been launched at the popular Kumekucha blog. Our conscience will haunt us if we do nothing and condemn our children and grand-children whom we claim to love to a nation in chaos and hurtling toward untold suffering brought about by the selfish political class that is only interested in self preservation and it's own hefty salaries and perks.
All you need to do is to go to the following page now;
http://kumekucha1.blogspot.com/2007/06/stop-political-violence-in-kenya.html
You will find the brief easy-to-read-through-quickly details, including the two simple things you have to do. Our beloved motherland needs you now. Please don't let her down.
Yours,
P.S. - I will really appreciate it if you can forward this email to a friend or two. Pamoja tutashinda na tutabadilisha Kenya.
N.B. Keep on checking this site for new developments and inspiration from others also participating in this campaign.
What if this campaign fails?
I have noted that Kenyans are very industrious and hard working people but many of them are hindered by a crippling fear of failure. This is a big mistake because history teaches us that the winners are those who do not fear failure. Inventor Edison in discovering the light bulb did over 1,800 experiments that were failures before he finally hit the jackpot. The opposition in Kenya failed many times before they finally dislodged Kanu from power. I am confident that we will succeed in this campaign beyond our wildest dreams. Besides doing something is much better than doing nothing.
The people I know do not use the Internet, what do I do?
Letters to media house can even be written by hand and personally delivered or posted at a post office near you. In fact this is the group of people we are most eager to involve in our campaign. So we are not leaving out anybody. Even those who don't know what the Internet is and ordinarily do not read the Kumekucha blog can participate in helping us all get our country back and to halt the rapidly approaching disaster that is on a fatal collision course with our beloved motherland.
What do I say in my protest letter?
Basically say what you feel about ordinary Kenyans losing their lives so that certain personalities can reach their political objectives (see this article about what political violence achieves for politicians in Kenya) but the main points are;
- The saddest thing is that the people who suffer most are the poor. Slum dwellers and the less fortunate members of our society. In other words the voiceless people of Kenya and the majority of voters. This is no accident, as those fanning the violence know exactly what they are doing.
- As long as the violence continues unchecked before even proper campaigns have started, it will be difficult for us to have a free and fair election. Chances are that the same people who have let the country down badly in the 9th parliament will be re-elected.
- Kenya needs women MPs more than ever before, as women tend to be more empathic to the situation on the ground. If things continue as they are, it will be much more difficult for women candidates to campaign successfully for election.
- Violence creates fear and makes voters in the affected areas vulnerable to manipulation.
- The general feeling is that the government is NOT doing enough to end the politically motivated violence. For instance informed sources say that the intelligence community has information on the genesis of the politically motivated violence and those promoting it but are reluctant to arrest the perpetrators who are very prominent Kenyans. Even if this is not true, the government needs to handle this situation with the urgency it deserves.
I don't have the contacts of any media house
Here is the email address and Postal address of the Nation newspaper. We urge everybody to help out by giving out the contacts they have in the comments section below. Let us also include newspapers abroad that sometimes cover news on Kenya.

Basically say what you feel about ordinary Kenyans losing their lives so that certain personalities can reach their political objectives (see this article about what political violence achieves for politicians in Kenya) but the main points are;
- The saddest thing is that the people who suffer most are the poor.

The allure of gold
message from our sponsors;
Man, it seems can hardly resist the beauty and allure of gold and throughout history has been known to go to great lengths to get it. Whether it is in gold bars or coins.
The truth is that you can hardly go wrong by investing in gold and Monex Precious Metals is the ideal partner to make your dreams in precious metal investments come true.
There is no denying the fact that buying gold has long been recognized for centuries as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Not to mention protection against the sudden unpredictable ravages of inflation.

Nobody likes to admit that they were wrong
Nobody likes to admit that they were wrong and Kumekucha commentators who once used strong and at times abusive language against the blogger over some analysis or prediction are no exception. They are usually nowhere to be seen when the thing comes to pass. For example this blogger was jeered and ridiculed when he said that retired President Moi would be a major force in the forthcoming elections. This is something that has become very clear now.
Kumekucha predictions
You may have already noticed that most predictions and analysis that Kumekucha gives end up being fairly accurate and many have come to pass. The fascinating thing is that there have been many instances where very angry readers have dismissed certain statements and even threatened to stop visiting the site, only for them to come true.

Online university and the process for change
message from our sponsors;
Jacqueline Binkert, PhD, and Ann Clancy, PhD. Are co authors together with Capella faculty member Sara Orem, in the writing of an explosive new book titled ‘Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change’

High Kumekucha traffic
It is clear that Kumekucha has on of the highest levels of traffic for any Kenyan blog. How has the site achieved this? Mainly by courageous writing without fear or favor and generally publishing information on Kenya and Kenyans that would be very difficult or impossible to find anywhere else. I thank all you readers who have made all this possible.
Kumekucha clocks 1,000 posts
The main Kumekucha site yesterday celebrated yet another milestone. The site reached a total of 1,000 posts or pages. Of course there are sites that have managed to clock more than that in terms of pages. Still the kumekucha blog can boast of 1,000 quality pages that combined draw a considerable daily traffic to the site.

Menstruation Odor Causes Marriage To Elude Woman
Dear Kumekucha,
Thank you for your wonderful site. Some of us have become very educated in politics and many other issues through Kumekucha.
I have a friend who after a very difficult time has recently got into another brand new relationship, but sadly, she is sure it will end in the same way that the previous ones have. I am trying very hard to encourage her and to tell her that life always has pleasant surprises, but she is very negative about the whole thing.
Her problem is a little embarrassing. What happens is that during her periods the odor is excessive and she believes this problem will make it impossible for her to ever live with a man under the same roof. She believes and I have little reason to doubt, that this is what has caused her serious relationships of the past to end when they should have developed further. Few people can actually stand the strong odor that is with her during the three to five days in a month when she has her periods. And of course we all know that men can hardly stand the site of blood.
Kumekucha Says,
The first thing I would like to say to your friend is that nobody is perfect. After 20 years in a very happy marriage, and listening to my wife share with me problems other women are going through, I can tell you that couples have all sorts of problems that they will never speak about in public.
But real love is not getting a "perfect" person. Love is accepting each other as you are. I am very confident that even in her present state there is somebody out there who will love her and accept her as she too loves and accepts them with their weaknesses.
Having said that, you have not mentioned whether she has seen a doctor, because this is important to rule out a bacterial infection, which my research tells me, can in some cases cause excessive menstruation odor.
A specialist doctor friend also tells me that most women are just too sensitive to their own normal body odors thinking that everybody can smell it when this is not the case. Admittedly in ordinary circumstances, odor during menstruation can be caused when air reaches the menstrual fluid. This is however easy to deal with by changing tampons more frequently and if the flow is heavy using tampons that are best suited to deal with heavy flow. However your friend's case does not appear to be as simple as this.
I don’t know why I have this feeling that her problem may be more in her mind than anywhere else and she may need to see a counselor or psychiatrist. I do not know if you are aware that many married couples still have sex during menstruation (not advisable) and we even have menstruation porn on the net, which appears to be fairly popular (that's how sick our world is).

How to fight inflation
message from our sponsors;
There is little doubt that purchasing gold has long been recognized as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power and is in fact a solid cushion against ravaging inflation.
Gold bullion really is a unique investment and from ancient times man has had an affinity for gold bullion and an insatiable appetite for it too. In all ages, man has been fascinated with the beauty and magic of gold, and with its power to change men’s lives. Today, the beauty of a gold bar lies in its proven ability to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one’s purchasing power. And the people to aid you in gold investments are none other than the Monex companies which has been America’s gold and precious metals investment leader for a very long time.

Keeping Kumekucha fresh
Admittedly keeping Kumekucha fresh, original and packed constantly packed with new ideas, is quite a challenge. But the blogger behind Kumekucha seems to be up to it. Several failed experiments at getting others to help out with the writing, has clearly demonstrated that there is only one Kumekucha, impossible to copy, difficult to imitate.
Reputation for exposing scandals
Over the years Kumekucha has built a reputation for himself for exposing scandals and discussing issues that few others would dare discuss. This has had the effect of attracting a huge army of regular readers most of whom just have to get their daily fix of Kumekucha before they can face their day.

Tragic cheating spouses
But even more tragic—concerning unfaithful couples are the children accidentally brought into this world. More so when the partner who has been cheated on discovers the child was conceived out of wed-lock. What happens is that the poor child lives a life of rejection and fear and is more often than not doomed to a life of failure and frustrations.
Kenyans are cheating spouses
Most Kenyans do not take the issue of cheating spouses seriously. Yet it has reached national crisis levels. Recently a gutter press publication, The Citizen carried what appeared to be camera phone photos of a man's wife caught in the act with her driver. Both were stark naked. Many more cheating spouses are never caught and continue with their deception for years.

Vital marketing
Message from our sponsors;
When it was first launched, the initial idea behind Forms4Free.com was to provide a free HTML Form Wizard so that those who had a website or blog but did not know how to create an HTML form could make a Web Form quickly and easily for free.
It turns out that there are large numbers of Webmasters and bloggers out there who do not know HTML well enough to create various vital marketing tools on their side like a simple contact form email form to harvest mail addresses from visitors for an opt-in email list. The existence of this huge market is what has made this site, which was only launched in 2005, so wildly popular.

Can cell phones win an election?
My prediction is that cell phones will be used a lot to pass on messages and ideas that will be created online in web sites, blogs and even in email messages written specifically for the purposes of wide distribution via forwarding. The end result is that the World Wide Web will ultimately have a huge influence on voting patterns countrywide.
Mobile phones and the elections
The mobile phone played a key role in the 2002 General elections. Remember all those text messages people were receiving and forwarding to each other like crazy? This time round all indications are that cell phones will play an even bigger role in the forthcoming elections. To start with the coverage has increased by a handful of millions.
Most trusted brands
message from our sponsors;
There is no denying that some times reliability and quality of equipment can be a matter of life and death. Northeast Marine Electronics recognize this and know too well that in some things of life, there is little room for mistakes or poor quality products. This is the reason why the company has a strict policy of only selling supplies that they know to be reliable. The result is that brands here are some of the most trusted in the industry.
Northeast is home of the very best in electronics for camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, and driving. If you are looking for Marine Radios then this has to be your first stop.

Will blogs affect coming elections in Kenya?
There are those who say that since the number of Kenyans with a access to the World Wide Web is so limited to a single digit fraction, then it also means that the impact will be very minimal of anything that is said online. One problem with this school of thought is the fact that Webmasters and bloggers are opinion leaders and there are numerous ways their messages can be passed on to the masses by the small fraction of person with access to the World Wide Web.
Coming general elections
One of the things that will be unique about the forthcoming general elections is the fact that for the first time Kenyans have an active blogging community that is already keenly following the count down to the historical polls expected later this year. It will be interesting to see what sort of impact this has.

What is my reaction to somebody comparing Kumekucha to Africa Confidential? The truth is that I am humbled and can only endeavor to work harder redoubling my efforts on every front and hope that one day this blog will maybe be half as good as the famous Africa Confidential. I also take this opportunity to thank you all our regular readers for making all this possible.

How do people describe the Kumekucha blog? Do you have any clue? Well we recently came across an email message forwarded to us by a friend who was contacted by somebody who wanted to speak to Kumekucha directly. The person describes the Kumekucha blog as being researched and written in the style of Africa Confidential a respected newsletter published from London.

Expect lots of ideas for Kenya from Kumekucha
Our earlier concern about discussing these ideas too early was the fact somebody would steal them and use them to win an election. Now we are going to discuss them openly and invite people to actually steal and implement them for the good of the long suffering Kenyan people. Many of the ideas you will find here are revolutionary but practical.
Exciting change in editorial policy at Kumekucha
Kumekucha, our main site recently announced a major change in editorial policy. The essence of it will be a change from personalities to ideas that can benefit the greatest number of people and generally impact positively on Kenya. At the end of the day it matters little where an idea came from, as long as it impacts positively on people.

Innovative mortgage
message from our sponsors;
What started out as a very creative and innovative mortgage arrangement has in recent years been a huge disappointment for many. It forced the UK government to recently step in with legislation to protect consumers by informing them that they may have higher value with a endowment policy selling service.
This is crucial because the endowment policies are supposed to pay off the principal in the endowment mortgages arrangement. Some policies are not all that desirable to purchase for many buyers, however it is just a case the seller being able to find the right buyer for their unique endowments policy. Someone will want to buy it. By selling their endowment policy through such a service, the endowment policy holder may receive up to 35% more for their policy.

Politicial blogs will also influence Kenya
The World Wide Web and especially blogs, have already revolutionized political reporting in more ways than many folks will ever understand. In the past it was easy for third world governments for example to bully and intimidate the press. Now with blog power, this is proving difficult and even negative comments will hardly succeed in stopping Kumekucha from achieving it's noble objectives which include being a voice to the millions of voiceless persons in Kenya.
Kumekucha invaded
It is abundantly clear that the popular Kumekucha blog has been invaded by Kibaki sympathizers and paid hands who are leaving comments that seem to favor the incumbent and discredit this blog and any other candidate who may stand against the president in the forthcoming general elections. This is an approach that will hardly work on the World Wide Web.

Save on your holiday
Everybody would like to save as much as they possibly can on their holiday. However most people do not have a clue where to even start.
Here's a hot tip. Savings on all-inclusive resort vacations begin at Vacations.net. This is one site that is the result of extensive research, consumer and industry feedback, and competitive site benchmarking. Vacations.net has used all that information to dramatically improve on their old site and create a website that raises the bar and sets a new standard for hospitality websites catering to the high-end while offering great rates, as well as tremendous savings of up to 50% off regular rates. The site is just the place to plan and book your next dominican republic vacation although you can use the site to go to many other exotic holiday destinations in the world.

Why spouses cheat
Kumekucha's in-depth analysis on why spouses cheat explores in a rather candid way the real reasons behind the sharp increase in the number of couples who go back on their word before witnesses and God almighty to cheat and have passionate extra-marital affairs. This is one article that will surprise and shock you, even as you gain the kind of understanding you have never had in these matters. It could well save your marriage.
Cheating of spouses increases worldwide
Cheating spouses are on the increase worldwide and not just amongst Kenyans. So what is the real problem? What is causing this sharp increase? Life style and modern living create circumstances and situations that are driving more and more women to cheat on their husbands. Sadly most people have not locked in to the real causes of the problem and instead prefer to play the blame game.

Is Penis Enlargement Really Possible? And Other Amazing Stories About The Controversial Male Organ
Penis enlargement is a controversial but popular subject all over the world. Chances are that in the past you have gotten absolutely sick of SPAM messages in your inbox about penis enlargement miracle solutions. One thing this should tell you immediately is that penis enlargement products are extremely popular and that despite what you may have heard, size really is everything.
The most popular trick used by promoters are concoctions that clearly give a harder and firmer erection which gives the illusion of a larger member, but the truth is that size does not change. Can you change the size of your hand? When you discover how to, then maybe it will be possible to change the size of this organ.
There are those who believe that stretching exercises work however the danger here is that the ligaments can easily get damaged and leave you in a worse state that when you started. The most dangerous here are weight devices that hang supposedly to cause enlargement. Chances of deformity instead and ligament damage are extremely high here. There is also the fact that these exercise devices tend to stretch length and so where they work one ends up with a longer but thinner penis, which is even worse.
Some believe that surgery works. But not only is it to expensive but it is also very expensive and the results are not certain.
Of course this article will not stop numerous people from all over the world from spending millions of dollars this month purchasing various miracle cures to enlarge the size of their members.
When The Controversial Organ Is Cut Off
Interestingly Kenyans have been involved in numerous incidents that have gained world attention concerning the severing of the penis. Kenyan Alfonse Mumbo gained worldwide fame in 2003 when he cut off his own penis and testicles so as to punish his wife for adultery. Then in 2005 Spanish surgeons successfully reconstructed the penises of two Kenyan boys taken to them by the controversial Dr Ken Jones. Witchdoctors making a portion that was supposed to cure HIV/AIDs had cut off the organs in a Kenyan village.
But severed penises are not new to the world. The penis of Napoleon was cut off and preserved after his death and some years later sold to a urologist for the princely sum of $40,000.
Then came the most famous of all the cases in 1993 when American Lorena Bobbitt cut off her husband John Wayne Bobbitt's penis with a kitchen knife. The story ended well for both couples because the organ was successfully attached and Mr Bobbitt made a lot of money from the incident including a stint as a porn star. A court ruled that his wife be sentenced to 45 days hospitalization due to a successful temporary insanity plea by her lawyers.
On July 1, 1997, a Vietnamese immigrant in British Columbia, Ms. Kim Phuong Tran severed her husband's penis after he admitted to being in love with another woman. Kim Phoung Tran kept on telling her husband not to have the mistress, but her threatening pleas fell on deaf ears. Instead the husband told his wife that he needed to be left alone so he could think. He then fell asleep and his wife promptly cut off the offending penis, and immediately flushed it down the toilet. It was never recovered. Ms. Tran was sentenced to a two-year conditional stay-at-home sentence with community service. Many men's rights groups in Canada were outraged at the lightness of her sentence.
In another very similar incident a woman in a Far Eastern country whose name I forget attached her husband's severed penis to a hot air balloon and released into the air. The intention appears to have been the same as that of Ms Tran, because if buried at a secret location, these things can always be exhumed so the idea seems to make them disappear altogether. Naturally the hot air balloon and its' bloody cargo were never seen nor heard of again.
Other women have come up with even more ingenious ways to ensure that the offending organ is never found again. In July 23 2005, Delmy Ruiz (49) who was jealous because her husband was having an affair lured him to the house they owned together under the pretext that there were some documents they needed to look at together. Her husband Rene Aramando Nuñez fell asleep at the house and Ruiz cut off his penis with a knife. The penis was then removed from the scene by a dog enthusiastically wagging its' tail, never to be seen again. Ruiz was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined $10,000.
Then out of Russia, as is to be expected came the most bizarre incident involving a penis in January 2002
On July 23, 2005, Delmy Ruiz, 49, was found guilty of aggravated assault after she had severed Rene Aramando Nuñez' penis with a knife. Ruiz said he had abused her earlier, but it was believed that she was really just jealous because he was seeing someone else. She lured him over to the house to talk about documents concerning the house that they owned together. He fell asleep while at the house. That is when she cut off his penis. The jury had been shown graphic photos of Nuñez' wounded crotch where more than 80% of his penis was completely removed save for a small stump. The penis was never recovered as it had been removed from the scene by her dog.
In January 2002, In Russia, Pavel Morozov, a player of Spartak football was brutally murdered by his friend's girlfriend because he didn't want to have sex with her. The friend invited Pavel over to his house to drink vodka with him and his girlfriend. The girlfriend became interested in Pavel especially as she got more and more intoxicated. She then made advances towards Pavel when her boyfriend and gone out briefly. Pavel didn't reciprocate so she became upset and started hitting him and screaming. It is said that Pavel ended up unconscious on the floor. The girlfriend then unzipped his trousers and quickly cut off the non-complying organ. She then also stabbed him in the chest. Pavels body was then thrown out in the street. At some point her boyfriend came back and the two continued drinking as if nothing had happened. They were however arrested in the morning.
In 2004, in Kassel, Germany, a 50 year old woman severed the penis of her Ghanaian ex-husband but died as a result of wounds inflicted by the same knife. The man's organ was later retrieved from the same room in which she died, though it is unknown as to whether it was re-attached or not.
In October 2004, Dr. Naum Ciomu chopped patient Nelu Radonescu's penis into small pieces in a fit of anger during routine surgery. He was later found guilty of grievous bodily harm, fined and received a 1 year suspended jail sentence for the attack. The victim ultimately had reconstructive surgery using tissue from his arm.
Let us end this gory article with an incident that was featured in the notorious Jerry Springer talk show in the 90s. A man who appeared on the show confessed that he had badly desired to become a woman and so severed his own penis and after doing so, hid it from his wife. What a strange world full of sick people we live in.

So is enlargement of this male organ possible? From the intensive research carried out by this writer, the answer is "NO" and so you will just have to make do with what you have and you should not throw your good money into buying anything online that promises to do the impossible.
Investment experts
Do you believe most investment experts when they say that a minimum of 10 per cent of your portfolio should be invested in tangible assets such as gold, silver and other precious metals? In fact there are other old hands in the investment field who insist that anything below 20 per cent is putting your entire portfolio at great risk in today's unpredictable world of political nd economic uncertainty.
Since 1967 Monex has helped over one hundred thousand investors to take advantage of the ever-rising price of gold and other precious metals to protect their investment from the ravages of inflationary pressures.

Violence predicted
Many analysts and observers predict that there will be plenty of violence and blood letting in Kenya this time round when the country goes to the polls to elect the president, members of parliament and councilors at the ward level. These prophets of doom point to the current isisng violence and insecurity countrywide as a mere taste of things to come.
Will Elections 2007 be peaceful?
Will the coming general elections be peaceful? And if the answer to that question is generally yes, just how peaceful and free of violence will individual constituencies be? This is one of the most frequently asked questions amongst the country's top political analysts as we prepare for the forthcoming general elections in Kenya, later this year.

Woman Reveals Nasty Men Habits Nobody Talks About
Research by a woman friend has revealed some rather nasty habits Kenyan men tend to have but which are rarely if ever discussed.
As usual, here in Kumekucha we do not fear to discuss anything. Being well aware of the inevitable reaction we will get from our male readers, here goes.
Men from mostly Western Kenya, are fond of this very irritating habit. Have you ever been close to a man that constantly holds and touches their private parts in public? As they are talking to you, as they are reading a newspaper and even as they talk into their cell phone? They cap them, caress them and do all sorts of disgusting things to them in full public view. A woman may get very wrong signals from a man they meet for the first time and maybe read some mischief in this habit. But the truth is that, they are used to this habit and it does not matter if they are talking to President Kibaki or the maid, they just can't help touching themselves constantly as they speak.
What about men who constantly pick their nose? I knew one who would follow up the activity occasionally by examining the contents of what they had extracted from deep inside their nose and then they would toss it into their mouth and start chewing at it. Yuck!
Then there are those men that some unfortunate women date who talk with their mouths full of food. More so food that they have already chewed. Naturally this would make anybody seated on the same table promptly lose their appetite.
My lady contact describes a rather intimate encounter where her man woke up and put his underwear that they had tossed on the side of the bed the night before close to his face to blow his nose. And specifically the area that holds the backside. Yuck. The horrible things that women have to put up with!
But what beats all these descriptions of nasty men habits is the tale told by a friend about an American business partner that visits once a year to check out the business they run with her husband. The guy is some sort of miser and despite being a millionaire always lives with them in the house for the month or so that he is around instead of staying at a hotel. The Interesting thing is that he loves Kenyan food like sukuma wiki, Ugali and even Githeri.
Now this white American guy (married with teenage children) leaves all his clothes to be washed by the maid, including his underwear. And it is this latter piece of clothing that caused so much trouble recently to the point where the house help wanted to suddenly leave her employment. Trouble started when the maid who was only a few weeks old on the job was given the American business partner's clothes to wash including his under wear (Americans wear boxer shorts) and noticed that the man obviously did not wipe himself properly after a visit to the toilet. There were clear smelly signs of this on the underwear. The new maid was not amused.
But the American had been visiting for at least four years or so. Meaning that the previous maid washed the stuff without any complaints. Like many wives do for Kenyan husbands who were never toilet-trained properly when they were young.
The bad habits that women have to bear in their men are numerous, only that most choose not to talk about them.

Woman Murders Her Best Friend To Steal Her Husband As Science Proves That It Is Deadly For Women To Have Casual Sex | Crimes of passion
It was called the crime of passion of the century, and it caused quite a media frenzy. A white woman fell in love with her best friends' husband, went to South Africa and purchased a pistol and returned to personally murder her best friend in cold blood so that she could have her husband all to herself. Police suspicion was aroused because hardly had the dead woman been buried, her killer was already spending nights of passion with the man. The cops got their woman and she was hanged for the crime. Initially her lover was charged alongside her but was later acquitted for lack of evidence.
This incident happened in Gaberone, Botswana a few years back.
Then there was the sad case in Kenya where this woman fell madly in love with this man, but there was one hitch, her 7-year-old son from a previous tryst. Her new lover hated him and thought that she should get rid of him by packing him off to his grandmother's or something. The woman had a "better" idea. She drowned him in a drum of water in the house.

And there are many other crimes of passion that women commit. Maybe we should mention just one that was less deadly. This man's girlfriend discovered that he was giving too many lifts in his car to a certain particular pretty young something in the estate. She was so angry that she got a knife and slashed all the tires of his car.
So what was with these women? Were they crazy or what?
Actually science has now proved that when a man and a woman hop into bed for some action, their bodies do not react the same afterwards. We all know that men have since time immemorial pulled off that stunt of wham-bhang-thanks-mum and the next minute they will probably never even remember her name. Scientists have now discovered that when women have sex, they release a hormone called oxytocin (also called the "cuddle hormone"). Some scientific researchers are convinced that this hormone makes women feel extra warm and fuzzy for their sex partners.
This explains why women feel so infuriated when the man turns over and starts snoring loudly immediately after the act, when they would prefer him to cuddle them and keep on whispering sweet nothings into their ear.
It also explains the common sequence in most would-be relationships where women do the deed too soon and end up making too much of a relationship that barely existed off the bed. When the woman ends up inflating the relationship the man does what men do best—they bolt.
Here’s a quick tip from a very experienced man in these things to all you women reading this. The more you delay dropping your pants for him, the more his love for you will grow. It seems to me that when a man wants to sleep with a woman and he cannot, a hormone is released that makes him feel warm and fuzzy towards her and over time this causes him to go crazy with love (mixed with lust) over her. Ignore that last sentence, Kumekucha has no scientific qualifications and if anything his science grades bore a close resemblance to a Zulu war (many rungus. That's what a grade 9 for failure looks like).
On a more serious note, essentially you should only get to that stage of the relationship when he has committed before witnesses. But how many young women can soak in the tremendous pressure that comes from men and wait for that day?

Groom's escorts
message from our sponsors;
Your wedding day is perhaps the happiest day of your life and to many others it is also the most anxious day they will ever live to see. Wedding plans are never easy and chances are one will forget a crucial detail concerning the big occasion and will blame his organization committee yet it is never easy to have a perfect wedding whatever your status in society. However, there are cheap wedding favors that one needs to look at as you are tying the note. They are known as the internet wedding superstore and are probably the best place online to find cheap wedding favors and personalized wedding favors like gifts for bride's and groom's escorts

Do you understand Kenyan history?
From regularly publishing this blog, I have noted the emergence of a dangerous breed of young Kenyans who are quick to compare our young nation with advanced western nations and they do so in total ignorance of our history. One recent careless comment on independence hero Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya, better known as Tom Mboya brought this home to me very clearly.

Amazing 90 Per Cent Renewal Rate
Message from our sponsors;
With an amazing 90 per cent renewal rate, many of the clients of the clients of Search Engine Positioning Services have told then that their website optimization services generated more sales than all other forms of advertising put together.
This should tell you a lot about what you should expect if your were to make the decision to seek search engine optimization services here.
The blunt advice given is that you should not shop for price, shop for results. Why bother paying half the price if you are not going to get the results? Is this not as good as throwing away your money in the name of going for a low price? Many so-called optimization companies offer extremely low prices because all they are doing is tweaking your meta tags and content and this is not effective on its' own with search engines these days.
