Chances are high that Deputy President William Samoei Ruto may have caught wind of what Raila and Uhuru really want to do with the next government. Details contained in a top secret document leaked recently. The DP has on several occasions implored President Kenyatta to remain and allow Kenyans to make their democratic choice freely. But that is impossible based on the plans of the handshake duo.
Even more recently Ruto has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to step aside to let him face-off with Raila.
Speaking during a rally in Murang’a, on March 20th 2022, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential candidate reminded the President that he is not in any battle with him but with Mr Odinga and he should leave the latter to him.
“I have tried to have a go at Raila but I cannot have a fair battle with him because he is hiding behind the President,” said the DP.
“So I am asking the President to step aside and let me battle it out with Raila since he has made it clear he will not stand by me,” he added.
The details in the leaked document may explain why Ruto sounds desperate and panicked.

Unspoken Reason For Uhurus Headache With Kikuyu MPs | Uhuru | Kenya News
There is no doubt that President Uhuru Kenyatta has a serious political problem with leaders in the Mount Kenya region. A few days ago he called off at the eleventh hour a scheduled consultative meeting with Mt Kenya region leaders. Uhuru said the meeting was called off after consultations.
"I have deferred the meeting that was scheduled for Friday at State House Nairobi, with MPs, Senators and Governors from the Mt Kenya region to a later date, which will be communicated to you in due course," the message read.
Earlier, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria had told off Uhuru over his expected meeting with Mt Kenya leaders. Kuria said Mt Kenya leadership has been waiting for a meeting with the president for the past four years. He noted that Uhuru calling them after declaring support for Odinga is contempt. The MP called on the President to respect leaders from the region.
Clearly all is not well here. However there is a very good reason why the politics has developed the way it has and it is surprising that most political analysts have completely missed the elephant in the room.

New Oath Against Raila Was Taken In 2016: Moses Kuria Confirms
There is credible information suggesting that when the Jubilee government realized that they did not have the numbers to win re-election in 2017, the 1969 oaths were "re-newed." The Moses Kuria remarks made in a place in Kiambu that is not far from President Uhuru Kenyatta's rural home at Ichaweri has not only sparked an uproar but Kuria in his speech said that the oath had been taken again more recently. This further confirmed the info that this blogger received in early 2017.
Kuria was eloquent and did not mince his words; "In 1969 when you are under siege you rally 300,000 Kikuyus to take an oath-at a fee- binding them never to elect an uncircumcised person. 50 years later without calling for another oath to undo the first one, you unilaterally make an about-turn and expect the whole community to follow you," Moses Kuria said in a direct attack on President Uhuru Kenyatta who has settled on Raila as his preferred successor.
