The bitter exchanges between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his rogue Deputy Willam Samoei Ruto have escalated in recent times.
Reports from allies of the president disclose the differences are so deep, that at one time the two leaders exchanged bitter text messages, some of which were seen by their close associates.
”From the messages that I was shown, the differences between the two are personal and very deep. It will take a miracle for them to be ironed out,” one source says.
