Unbelievable tale of violent women in Africa, some of them in Kenya

Flashback (November 2011) Three suspected women rapists from left to right, sisters Sophie Nhokwara (26), Netsai Nhokwara (24) and Rosemary Chakwizira (28) leave Harare Magistrates court where they were charged with raping and assaulting men hitchhikers.

Believe it or not, there are increased cases of male boda boda riders in Kenya reporting that they have been raped by females. And in most instances they are too embarrassed to press charges.

In other instances attempts to report the crime at police stations have been met with laughter by officers who have refused to take them seriously.

If you think this is a joke then think again because in two recent cases raped men have had to seek treatment after their ordeal with some women and in one case after an encounter with a single woman (see video in another post).

One thing is for sure, whatever statistics you see about females raping men will always be greatly understated. For the simple reason that this is not the kind of crime that a man would usually report. It is the kind of thing that they will want to keep a big secret and that also makes any research into the matter a little more difficult than usual.

Take the case of this story one of my informants at the Coast has been pursuing for a number of weeks now. It has been reported that a gang of women in a certain part of Mombasa (location with-held) are grabbing men and raping them. Some locals think that the motive may be to spread disease as a way of exerting some kind of revenge against men in general. Those who are said to have been involved will not talk about it let alone agree to meet a reporter who may publicize their story.

But it seems men in Zimbabwe are different. That country hit international headlines in 2011 after several men filed statements with the police about incidents where they were raped by a woman at gun point. The way it went down was that they would be offered a lift by these attractive women (usually 2) who would then drive them to some lonely spot at gun point, hand them a condom and order them to have sex with one of them. At the end of the ordeal the women would carefully retrieve the condom and drive off into the night with the raped man’s semen.

This is the kind of tale that would never sell as fiction because it sounds way too bizarre to be true. But it gets even stranger. In 2011 a motorist had a minor accident but when police arrived on the scene it suddenly turned into a criminal investigation after they found 31 used condoms in the car 4 of them still with what appeared to be male semen.

The man led police to three women who were said to be the owners of the car involved in the accident. They were; Rosemary Chakwizira (24), Sophie Nhokwara (26) and Netsai Nhokwara (24). Police seem to have enough evidence because the women were promptly charged.

Superstitious locals believed that the motive of the rapes was to collect male sperm for occult rituals that lead to great wealth. The lifestyle of the 3 arrested women and the fact that several men came forward to tell police that they were popular in night spots in Harare where they were known to frequently insist on buying men drinks, has just added fuel to this belief.

In Russia a lone woman rapist was charged in court (in the year 2010) where she admitted to raping a man for 3 days. So severe were the man’s wounds from the rape ordeal that he was forced to seek treatment in a hospital shortly after the woman released him.

Joke about female rapists at your own peril and maybe it might not be such a good idea to accept a lift from some beauties in a car who seem to fancy you. You have been warned.

Sinister Hidden Hands Behind Mavoko's Land-grabbing Scandal | Kenya. Welcome to the latest Kenya news analyzed by Kumekucha Chris for the real inside story in Kenya politics and more; Mavoko's land-grabbing scandal that culminated in the recent demolishing of houses, several years later, is not a random occurrence; it is a well-orchestrated scheme by influential individuals in politics who manipulate the system to serve their own interests. Kingi Coastal Call for Unity Creates Waves of Panic for UDA in Kenya

Kingi Coastal Call for Unity Creates Waves of Panic for UDA in Kenya

Political activity has suddenly exploded along the coast. Recently, politicians from the coast came together, shocking the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

With its diverse population and rich cultural legacy, the coastal region of Kenya has long been politically crucial. However, in recent years, there has often been a lack of cohesion among its leaders, which frequently leads to fragmented representation. All of that changed when the leaders of the coast abruptly agreed to put aside their differences and work together for a shared goal.

The political environment in Kenya has been upended by the cohesion of the coast leaders, which has especially caused tremendous anxiety inside the UDA party. What, however, actually happened behind the scenes? And is this the primary cause of the extreme terror in Ruto's State House? Chris Kumekucha investigates.

Mavoko is a Time Bomb Capable of Shaking Ruto Presidency | Kenya

The Mavoko land saga has become a ticking political time bomb in Kenya and the question on the minds of pundits is if the political class even has a clue of what is really boiling furiously under the surface. This controversial issue has raised questions about the involvement of various political figures and so called "big fish" in the Kenyan political landscape. Many Kenyans have not even began to understand what the big deal about the long-standing disputes over land ownership and illegal allocations in Mavoko, Machakos County, is all about. The Mavoko land saga is undeniably a ticking political time bomb in Kenya. And this becomes crystal clear with the revelations in this Kumekucha Chris video.

Late Bloomer Stories: Are You A Late Bloomer And Don't Even Know It Yet?

The very inspirational tale of late bloomers who emerge very late in life. Very late is NOT too late

A late bloomer is a person whose talents or capabilities are not visible until much later than usual in life.

The truth is that the Kenyan political landscape is filled with late bloomers starting with Kenya’s first president and founding father of the nation Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

Kenya as a nation is just beginning to emerge from the abyss and will no doubt be a late bloomer, just how late is anybody’s guess because she is already headed to 60 years old. Still many would argue that for a nation that is still on the young side.

But in this article I would like to focus more on individuals and what they have achieved. I stumbled on this information and I thought it would make a nice change from all the negativity that comes with the territory that is Kenyan politics.

There is no denying that genius and creativity is popularly associated with the freshness and vigour of youth and indeed there are plenty of examples. Mozart wrote his breakthrough Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-Flat-Major at the age of twenty-one. Orson Welles made his masterpiece, “Citizen Kane,” at twenty-five.

Closer to home Tom Mboya clocked many of his achievements while in his late 20s and early 30s. Mwai Kibaki was in the cabinet in his early 20s.

But I guess the truth here is best described by what a friend said in a recent Facebook discussion we were having with quite a number of old school mates. He said that those destined for greatness have to finally emerge no matter how long it takes. In other words time is not a factor in true genius and creativity.

So my hope is that if you are reading this and have always felt that you have passed your sell-by-date by a decade or two or even three, then let this be the post that inspires you to turn around your life and get it done.

There are some pretty amazing things very old people have done. Jomo Kenyatta did the intricate balancing act of leading Kenya to independence with all the political jostling and set a firm foundation for the new nation of Kenya when he was already well into his seventies.

In business Irene Wells Pennington became best known in her nineties when she helped straighten out irregularities in her husband's oil business after he went senile in his 90s. Colonel Sanders of KFC fame began his franchise in his sixties and can also be deemed a late in life financial success.

And then there is my all time favourite late bloomer, Mario Puzo. That’s the guy who wrote the runaway best seller called The Godfather. For years Mr Puzo struggled doing the kind of writing where he could not even afford to put food on the table for his family.

Puzo's most famous work, The Godfather, was first published in 1969 (when Puzo was almost 50 years old). He based it on anecdotes about the Mafia organizations that he had heard during his time in pulp journalism. He later said in an interview with Larry King that his main motivation in writing the book was to make money. By this time he had already written two earlier books that had received great reviews, yet had not amounted to much as far as his bank balance was concerned. As a government clerk with five children, he was looking to write something that would appeal to the masses and make a killing. And it happened beyond Puzo’s wildest dreams because after the huge success of this book, others followed and then the films.

The story of the making of The Godfather is another Cinderella saga. Paramount Pictures was in deep financial trouble at the time of production and was very desperate for a "big hit" to boost business, hence the pressure director Francis Ford Coppola faced during filming. Paramount were determined that The Godfather should appeal to a wide audience and threatened Coppola with a "violence coach" to make the film even more exciting. Coppola added a few more violent scenes to keep the studio happy. The scene in which the character of Connie breaks dishes after finding out that her husband is cheating on her was added for this reason.

And the list can go on and on.

Quit feeling sorry for yourself and get out there and do whatever it is you were brought into this earth to do. You are certainly NOT too old.

Raila Tells Off Ruto Over His Nyanza Tour Obsession With Azimio Plans

Raila Lectures Ruto badly during Brother Oburru Odinga's Birthday Celebrations in Bondo

William Ruto and his administration have let down Kenyans very badly and should focus on addressing the cost of living hurting Kenyans currently instead of being obsessed with the manner in which Azimio was being run.

These were the remarks of Azimio leader Raila Odinga in Bondo over the weekend. The occasion was celebrating Oburu Odinga's 80th birthday. Oburu is Raila's older brother and Senator for Siaya

Raila Odinga took the opportunity to confront President William Ruto over his incessant tours of Nyanza. Raila, a seasoned politician and also the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party, addressed the crowd with a strong message to Ruto, emphasizing the need to shift focus from political tours to addressing the pressing issue of the soaring cost of living.

Raila said that Ruto has let down the majority of Kenyans, especially "hustlers" by failing to keep his campaign promises. More so his campaign promise to reduce the high cost of living.

The hustler call for a better life was at the core of Ruto's campaign for the presidency and even his UDA party headquarters in Nairobi is called the Hustler Centre.

"During President Ruto's recent visit to Siaya and the entire Nyanza counties, he seemed more concerned about how the Azimio leaders will position themselves for the 2027 General Election. However, this doesn't bring any benefit to the lives of Kenyans," Raila roared.

The Azimio leader, who is widely believed to have been the real winner of the presidential elections in August 2022, highlighted the hardship faced by Kenyans due to the continued increased of fuel prices, which directly affects the production of essential goods and actually everything else.

Raila urged Ruto to focus his remarks on matters that directly impact Kenyans rather than those linked to Azimio. "When the campaign season begins, one of us will proudly carry the Azimio flag, so we don't need any lecture or redirection on how to organize our own party," he added."

Shifting Focus from Nyanza Tours to Tackling the Real Problems

While political tours may have their place in the realm of politics, Raila urged President Ruto to prioritize the challenges faced by the people rather than indulging in excessive political campaigning.

The frequency of Ruto's visits to Nyanza, one of Raila's strongholds, has raised eyebrows, leading to speculations of possible political motives overshadowing the real pressing issues.

The Need for Concrete Solutions and Tangible Actions

Raila stressed the importance of implementing tangible actions to alleviate the burden on Kenyans caused by the escalating cost of living. Empty promises and mere political rhetoric will only exacerbate the already precarious situation faced by many citizens.

Raila's remarks undoubtedly resonated with the crowd, who like a vast majority of Kenyans, are desperate for solutions that would make a tangible difference in their daily lives.

Why is Ruto making very frequent visits to Luo Nyanza?

In recent times, William Ruto has been making frequent visits to Luo Nyanza, which is considered the stronghold of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. These visits, often referred to as development tours, have raised many eyebrows and sparked curiosity among political analysts and the general public.

Ruto's Strategic Nyanza Move: What Is The Real Motive?

Ruto's decision to focus on Luo Nyanza, despite it being traditionally aligned with Raila's political ideologies, can be seen as a strategic move to try to expand his base of support. By embarking on development tours to the region, it seems that Ruto aims to demonstrate his commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of the people in Luo Nyanza. This calculated approach allows him to present himself as a leader who transcends political boundaries and works towards the overall growth and development of the country.

Unfortunately to many residents of the area this move comes across as being insincere. And in any case, Raila Odinga's popularity in Luo Nyanza has been unquestionable for many years. And so by targeting Nyanza and making frequent trips, pundits are of the opinion that this will not make much of a dent on Raila's political influence in the area and will not help Ruto politically. Many therefore suspect other more sinister motives amongst the President's handlers and political advisors.

Kenya's Season of Fake Lawyers, Fake Pilots And Fake Presidents

It would seem that the country called Kenya has entered a season of fake lawyers, fake pilots and even fake Presidents. Illegitimacy and impersonators are in the air over the republic and it is impossible for anybody to escape the pungent stench.

It would seem that the country called Kenya has entered a season of fake lawyers, fake pilots and even fake Presidents. Illegitimacy and impersonators are in the air over the republic and it is impossible for anybody to escape the pungent stench.

And so, to quote a popular Kenyan phrase; Why don't you just accept and move on? YEP! Why don't you just do that?

The dangers of persons not qualified practicing or exercising their duties as if they were legitimate, are obvious and can be deadly. But strangely enough in a country where short-cuts are greatly admired and even celebrated, you will be surprised to know that to some Kenyans the imposters are heroes. After all they overcame great odds and fooled many intelligent people to get to where they are. Should that not be greatly admired?

Kenyans admire and even worship overnight millionaires who have made their money from corrupt supply deals with the government. Get-rich-quick tenderpreneurs are even celebrated in the media in articles and exclusive interviews. It is clear that we have no time for the legitimate entrepreneur who has made strides after years of toil. Perhaps because the said genuine businessman or woman is not driving an expensive fuel guzzling vehicle. Or flashing cash all over the place in arrogance.

Not too long ago, there are many Kenyans who celebrated the suspicious Presidential election results announced by Wafula Chebukati in August 2022, knowing very well that they were unlikely to be the real results. These Kenyans, true to form, celebrated the short-cut ways that had outsmarted the system and the voting process to "WIN" in quotes. To these Kenyans winning is achieving the goal in whatever manner, whether legal or illegal.

Over a year into a short-cut presidency, Kenyans have seen very clearly many of the huge disadvantages here. Indeed we all continue to experience the excruciating pain of it in skyrocketing cost of living and pay slips with historic deductions.

And so the strange story of pilots flying passenger jets without the proper qualifications should not surprise anybody who understands the real psyche of Kenyans that drives them to quick fixes and short-cuts.

In a recent wave of social media frenzy, Kenya Airways has found itself at the center of controversy. Claims have surfaced alleging that unlicensed pilots have been flying the airline's planes for a staggering period of eight years. However, Kenya Airways officials have swiftly refuted these claims, stating that they are entirely false.

Many were horrified at the very thought of boarding an aircraft and being flown by somebody who is not qualified and may have taken the famous Kenyan short-cut to being certified as a pilot. Perhaps even by simply taking a lazy walk to River Road in Nairobi and having the right certificates forged.

But why should fake-country-Kenya be horrified at all this when the country is being led by somebody who a whistle-blowers figures show did not win the presidential election? After all any Kenyan opting for the shorter route may have been inspired by the drama that unfolded in Kenya in August 2022. We are supposed to follow our leader's example are we not?

So why don't we all brace ourselves for fake surgeons inside a medical facility, or fake midwives handling the complicated deliveries of our unborn children and generally illegitimate practitioners in sensitive procedures.

After all it goes with the territory does it not?

Where is Wafula Chebukati? The former IEBC chairman has not made a public appearance for many months, leaving people wondering about his whereabouts.

So far we have only witnessed press statements and social media updates linked to Chebukati and it still remains a puzzle as to whether he is in the country or out of the country. After all, it is not impossible for an aide or somebody else to post old photographs and make an update on behalf of Chebukati.

Speculations abound as to what he could be up to. Some suggest that he might have retreated from the public eye to focus on personal matters or perhaps to take a well-deserved break from the demanding nature of his previous role.

Others speculate that he may be involved in behind-the-scenes political maneuverings on behalf of William Ruto or working on a new project. Whatever the reason, his absence has raised eyebrows and fueled even more rumors. The public eagerly awaits any news or update regarding his current situation, hoping for clarity on the whereabouts of this prominent Kenyan figure who broke the hearts of millions of Kenyans in August 2022 when he announced the shock results of the Presidential elections.

Could Chebukati Be Busy With The Controversial Servers Containing The Real Election Results?

Could the mystery of Chebukati's absence and the IEBC servers reveal a deeper involvement in fiddling with the electoral results? With Ruto's reluctance to open the servers, some have speculated that Chebukati could be playing a role in ensuring the tally in the servers matches his announced results. The secrecy surrounding these IEBC servers has always raised questions about their integrity and whether they have been tampered with. Is Chebukati trying to hide something?

The reluctance to transparently open these servers only fuels suspicions, leaving room for speculation and doubt about the legitimacy of the results that Chebukati announced.

Whispers are even swirling around suggesting that Chebukati may have been taken ill. The rumors gained traction due to his noticeable absence from various public appearances and engagements. Speculations gathered momentum, with some even suggesting that Chebukati might be currently seeking medical attention abroad.

As these murmurs spread, concern for Chebukati's well-being has grown among the public and political circles alike. His absence from the limelight inevitably fueled the rumor mill, with people eagerly awaiting official statements to address the situation and shed light on the true nature of his condition.

Until then, these unverified reports continue to circulate, leaving many pondering the fate of this prominent figure. As uncertainty persists, the focus remains steadfastly on unravelling the truth behind the whispers of Chebukati seeking medical attention abroad.

Appointment of Chebukati's Wife Throws Spanner into the Works

The recent appointment of Mary Wanyonyi, the wife to Chebukati, as the new Chair of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), has sparked a wave of controversy and raised even more urgent concerns about Chebukati's absence from the public eye. This move brings back memories of the past, when Chris Msando's wife secured a government job after the demise of her husband.

Many are questioning the timing and motivation behind Mary Wanyonyi's appointment.

Critics argue that this appointment throws a spanner into the works, casting doubt on the transparency and credibility of the government's actions.

As the public awaits answers regarding Chebukati's whereabouts and the rationale behind this appointment, one thing is for sure, these Chebukati rumors will not go away any time soon.
