Was mystery of Sergeant Kenei death solved but arrests blocked by powerful forces in power now?

Over 3 years later, the death of Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei remains a deep mystery. Detectives conclusively proved that he was murdered and that raises so many unanswered questions. The whole saga is complicated by the fact that key witnesses who would help shed light on the matter are now amongst the most powerful people in the land. With the recent killing of yet another officer, DCI police constable David Mayaka, we re-visit the Kenei case, especially because some believe that it has an intriguing link to the latest Mayaka mystery.

The enigma surrounding the demise of Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei continues to perplex the nation, a tale shrouded in shadow and unanswered questions and with-holding of information. Kenei, a security officer at the Deputy President's office, was found dead in his home at Imara Daima, Nairobi, on 20th February 2020. An autopsy later confirmed that his death was not natural, but a result of a single gunshot wound to the head.

It wasn't long before the shadowy circumstances of his death raised eyebrows, hinting at a possible cover-up. What caused a seemingly dutiful officer to meet such a tragic end? Could it have been suicide, as some would suggest, or is it more likely the unfortunate result of foul play?

“There are some things that just don't add up here. It's like trying to piece together a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces,” said an anonymous source close to the investigation.

As the investigation expanded, it brought to light a murky undercurrent of corruption allegations. Kenei was reportedly scheduled to record a statement on the controversial arms deal involving ex-Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa (and the infamous General Juma, a man posing as Kenyan army general), a day before he died. The question remains, was his death a bitter consequence of knowing too much?

Further fueling speculation, CCTV footage from the Deputy President's office was allegedly tampered with, conveniently erasing any evidence of Echesa's presence there on the day of the arms deal. The then Deputy President himself claimed that the murder was a 'stage-managed killing' designed to harm his political reputation. But who stood to gain the most from Kenei's silence?

Evidence or Elusions?
Evidence gathered by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) led to the arrest of three individuals connected to the arms deal. However, no charges have ever been filed, and no culprits have been brought to justice for Kenei's murder to this day. Is this merely a case of insufficient evidence, or could there be more powerful forces at play obstructing the path of justice?

The lack of significant progress in the case, despite the passage of over 3 years, is undoubtedly disconcerting. A trail that seemed promising at first, now appears to be leading to a cul de sac. Could there be unseen powers pulling the strings behind the scenes, ensuring that the truth behind Sergeant Kenei's death remains buried forever?

As we continue to delve deeper into this convoluted maze, we must remember that at the heart of it all, a life was lost - a father, a husband, and a dutiful officer. The quest for the truth is not merely a pursuit of justice, but a tribute to Sergeant Kenei, whose life was tragically cut short amidst a web of secrets and deceit.
The role that powerful forces played in blocking arrests pertaining to the death of Sergeant Kenei is a topic shrouded in secrecy and intrigue. It is an element of the mystery that, while covert, cannot be ignored. The question remains: who are these forces and what was their motivation for obstructing justice?

From the outset, it was clear that Kenei's death case was not an ordinary one. His untimely demise under suspicious circumstances sent shockwaves across the nation. The case was immediately handed over to the top detectives of Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). However, despite their relentless efforts, one thing became evident – an invisible hand seemed to be hindering their progress.

The first sign of interference was the inexplicable delay in certain aspects of the investigation. Key pieces of evidence appeared to have been tampered with, stalling the investigative process. Moreover, witnesses reported receiving threats aimed at preventing their cooperation with the authorities. But who could wield such power?

According to sources close to the investigation, it was suggested that these forces were high-ranking officials. "The higher you go, the cooler it becomes," one source stated cryptically. This veiled reference hinted at the possibility of the involvement of influential figures in the government or security forces. Where were their orders coming from?

What is the timeline of events leading up to Sergeant Kenei's death?
From a timeline perspective, the circumstances leading up to Sergeant Kenei's untimely demise are indeed complex and intriguing. There are certain events unfolding within this timeline that raise eyebrows, hinting at a larger, possibly more sinister narrative.

The first incident of note takes place around mid-February, when Sergeant Kenei reportedly went missing from his place of work at the Deputy President's office. His colleagues, who had been accustomed to his punctuality and dedication, found his sudden absence rather unsettling.

"His absence was peculiar. Kenei was always on time, ever diligent. His sudden disappearance raised alarms," recalled a fellow officer.

Following this, a few days later, there was startling news broadcasted across major Kenyan news outlets - Kenei was found dead at his residence. Initial investigation suggested suicide, a conclusion that did more to raise suspicion than quell it.

Then there's the case of the missing CCTV footage. It transpired that the cameras in the Deputy President's office, a place where Kenei used to work, failed to record any footage for a time frame that was crucial to the investigation. This particular piece of the puzzle raises a pressing question - was this a mere coincidence or an orchestrated move to erase potential evidence?

Furthering the timeline, following the disclosure of Kenei's death, an autopsy was performed. While the initial police report hinted at suicide, the autopsy report suggested otherwise. There were indications of possible homicide, a glaring contradiction to the police report.

"The autopsy results were at odds with the initial police report. This contradiction sparked additional queries," stated a forensic expert associated with the case.

Lastly, the revelation of potential interference in the investigation into Kenei’s death was a chilling endnote to this timeline. Sources suggested that powerful forces attempted to block arrests, further muddying the waters of this investigation.

Thus, the timeline of events leading up to the death of Sergeant Kenei is riddled with inconsistencies and mysteries. One can't help but wonder, was there a sinister plot lurking beneath this tragic tale? And more importantly, were those who had the power to solve the mystery of Sergeant Kenei's death themselves embroiled in a grand scheme to silence it?

And who was Kenei talking to and taking orders from in the CCTV footage the Deputy President's office at the time tried so hard to hide? In the footage Kenei then handed over the phone to "General Juma" (obviously under instruction). General Juma then spoke to the same powerful forces that were giving instructions to Kenei. In this CCTV footage lies all the answers to this deep mystery.

Bottomline, in the course of his duties, innocent Kenei got to know too much and thus had to be murdered. Can the same be said for David Mayaka?

Dark handshake forces hand over Raila and the Nation story that made Ruto livid

Who are the dark hidden forces controlling politics in Kenya? Unseen Influences  When you look closely, you begin to notice a suspiciously common thread running through the political fabric of Kenya. There are whispers of secret meetings, covert deals and undisclosed connections. But who are these unseen influences? What do they want and how far will they go to achieve their goals?  The Puppet Masters?  It's clear that there are forces acting behind the scenes. Powerful individuals and organisations, often with international connections, appear to be pulling the strings. We can't be sure who they are but their influence is undeniable.  "The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes." - Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter This quote, though in a different context, resonates with the situation in Kenya. There seems to be a parallel narrative that's being played out behind the public charade of politics.  The Mysterious Envoys  Take for instance, the cryptic statements that have been emerging from foreign envoys. These are not random comments but carefully crafted messages. But for whom are they meant for? What is the objective, apart from fighting Raila Odinga? These foreign envoys, who are they representing? Are they just messengers, or are they part of a larger entity subtly manipulating the strings of Kenyan politics? What is their purpose One thing however is crystal clear: They certainly aren't aligned with the realities and concerns of ordinary Kenyans.  The Strange Cabinet Moves  And then there are the strange moves from members of the cabinet. Actions that don't seem to make sense The pattern in Kenya news and politics is clear. Politicians shooting from both sides of their mouths, strange statements from foreign envoys and even stranger moves from members of the cabinet. They all suggest that we have some very powerful individuals and organizations pulling the strings behind the curtains. And all are floating ideas that completely ignore the situation on the ground.
The most recent killing of DCI officer David Mayaka and the past deaths of AP sergeant Kipyegon Kenei and the kidnap and murder of Meshack Yebei. Surely what would all three killings, which shocked Kenyans, have in common? Is there really a common thread between the three?

Two of the victims were active police officers and that has to be our first clue. Why would somebody want to end the life of an officer serving the government? And a junior officer at that? A highly likely possibility would be that the low ranking officers had accidentally come across highly sensitive information that very powerful people did not want to ever leak out under any circumstance. Meshack Yebei was not a law enforcement officer but he had very sensitive information on an ICC case, including information on bribery and witness interference. It mattered little which side he was in because somebody somewhere would always consider him a loose end.

Killing of DCI Mayaka in Kayole linked to Kenei and Yebei past killings?

And so the common thread in all the three very unfortunate cases of Kenyans losing their lives in circumstances that have never been made clear (and are highly likely never to be shed light on) is simply that they were loose ends.

DCI Mayaka's Case
David Mayaka, a DCI officer, stopped to fix a puncture on his way home with his wife on 8th August 2023 at about 9:30pm and was gunned down by an assassin, accompanied by two other people who all arrived on one motorbike. CCTV footage captured the whole incident and it shows one of the people with the assassin holding back his wife as they shot Mayaka 3 times in the abdomen.  Investigations into his death have so far yielded nothing close to a plausible motive leading to speculation that he may have been silenced because of information he had come across. This is a recurring theme in these cases where individuals seem to be targeted because they knew too much.

Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei's Case
Kipyegon Kenei, on the other hand, was an Administration Police officer attached to Deputy President William Ruto's office. His death came in the wake of the controversial arms deal scandal involving former Sports CS Rashid Echesa. Kenei was found dead in his house, a day before he was set to record a statement with the DCI on the scandal. Circumstances surrounding his death were suspicious, and many believe that he was eliminated to bury the truth.

Meshack Yebei's Case
Yebei, although not an officer, found himself in the middle of a high-stakes international case linked to the ICC. He was a key witness, and his knowledge about alleged witness tampering and bribery made him a significant figure. His death, therefore, raised eyebrows, with many speculating that his murder was designed to suppress critical evidence.

Are these deaths linked? All three victims possessed sensitive information that would have been damaging to powerful individuals. It is not a far stretch to see how they could have been targeted to prevent crucial details from surfacing.

While it is vital to avoid jumping to conclusions without concrete evidence, it is equally crucial for the authorities to conduct thorough investigations to bring the killers to justice and give the families of the victims some semblance of closure. The repeated occurrence of such cases only serves to erode public trust in the security apparatus.

Conclusion
So, whether or not these cases are linked, one thing is undeniable - the victims were all "loose ends" who, unfortunately, found themselves tangled in webs of treachery and deceit. Their stories, though tragic, serve as a stark reminder of the dangers that come with possessing sensitive information that could undermine powerful entities.

DCI officer David Mayaka? Shocking truth about his killing

Solving the DCI officer Mayaka puzzle starts with a key ignored (so far) clue. The puncture that forced him to stop. What Led to the Puncture?  Firstly, we need to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the puncture. Is it a mere coincidence or was it a planned event? Could it have been a sinister move to immobilise Officer Mayaka's vehicle and place him in the line of danger? What happened after the puncture clearly tells us that it is highly likely that it was part of the plan to immobilize Mayaka. And in the CCTV we see the motorbike passing by the first time and slowing, perhaps to confirm that the first part of the plan had been successfully implemented? A Puncture: Simple Misfortune or Deliberate Act?  The details surrounding this puncture are vague so far, but if this was indeed an orchestrated act, then we must ask, how was it done? What type of puncture was it? A simple nail or glass shard on the road, or something more sophisticated to be sure? The type of puncture could give investigators key clues about the level of planning and the expertise of the people involved.  Who Could Have Instigated the Puncture?  Assuming that the puncture was not a mere accident, who then could have been behind it? Who among Officer Mayaka's associates, enemies or even strangers with a motive could have planned this? Or was it a random act of violence, with Officer Mayaka being the unfortunate victim?  Officer Mayaka's Movements Prior to the Incident  Lastly, what were Officer Mayaka's movements in the hours leading to this incident? Were there any deviations from his usual routine that could shed light on the events of that fateful day? Did he meet anyone suspicious? Was there anything unusual about his behaviour, something that might suggest that he was aware of being in danger?  While we delve into these questions, we can't lose sight of the fact that a life was brutally cut short. As we strive to unravel the mystery behind Officer Mayaka's shooting, let's remember the ultimate goal: to ensure justice for Officer Mayaka and his family.

Amb. Whitman has gone way overboard in her zeal. Teaching us how to perceive our own political  dilemma is beyond her pay grade. It would be better to keep off that role of a self-appointed moral and political arbiter. There is something about diplomacy:- one must strive to be understated, to be nuanced, above everything else. She is saying the quiet part out loud and probably doing damage even to her own country in these circumstances. READ article: Ruto and Meg Whitman's political miscalculation

Raila Charting a New Course For Azimio covertly  The indefatigable Raila Odinga is charting a decidedly bold new course, seemingly unafraid of the daunting gauntlet that lies ahead. But, will this brave venture yield the fruits of transformation he seeks for Kenya?
Political waters are often murky, the true power lies not in the public arena, but behind the scenes.

At the burial of Brian Muendo, 18, (in Makueni county on 15th August) a victim of police brutality during July anti-government demonstrations , Raila revealed that Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) former commissioners Irene Masit and Juliana Cherera left the country whilst greatly fearing for their lives and safety.

US envoy Meg Whitman collides with Raila's new direction for Azimio

Charting a New Course For Azimio covertly  The indefatigable Raila Odinga is charting a decidedly bold new course, seemingly unafraid of the daunting gauntlet that lies ahead. But, will this brave venture yield the fruits of transformation he seeks for Kenya?  The Power Behind Closed Doors  Political waters are often murky, the true power lies not in the public arena, but behind the scenes. It's here that crucial decisions are made, alliances are forged, and the course of a nation is often decided. It's here too, that this third force in the Kenyan crisis is orchestrating their moves, in the shadows and out of public scrutiny.  Raila's New Initiative  Signs of Raila's new direction are beginning to emerge. A notable pointer is his lawyer, Paul Mwangi, writing to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to raise further complaints about Prosecutor Karim Khan, former counsel to Deputy President Ruto's case linked to the 2008 unrest in the country. On the surface it looks like flogging a dead horse, since Mr Khan has already been exposed during his recent visit to Kenya. But then we also know that there is some kind of hesitancy at the ICC in relation to the police brutality cases in Kenya. Unafraid of Confrontation  Further proof of Raila's new bold stance was exhibited in his response to American envoy to Kenya, Meg Whitman's remarks. His forthright and biting retort in Eldoret was a clear message - Raila is not afraid to challenge even the most powerful forces.  So, as we watch this unfolding drama in Kenyan politics, one can't help but wonder: will Raila's brave new direction against powerful forces bear fruit?

Political trickery: Grimy way Ngunyi and Itumbi fixed Raila's fate for Uhuru: Can they do it again this time for Ruto?

What you are about to read will shock you to your very bones, the moment you "see" what has really happened in Kenyan politics to effectively block the most popular politician in Kenyan history from the presidency.

Kenyan politics is a boiling pot of strategy, intrigue and jockeying for power, and no two individuals have been at the forefront of this game more than Prof Mutahi Ngunyi and Dennis Itumbi. The main characters in Chris Kumekucha's latest sizzler of a book Tyranny of false narratives.

The best way to predict your future is to create it.
- Abraham Lincoln -

More than just political analysts and activists, these two have masterminded schemes and strategies (most of them very dirty) that have had far-reaching implications on the political landscape, particularly with regards to one man - Raila Odinga.

The Strategic Team and its Mission

From the onset, Ngunyi and Itumbi were handpicked to execute a mission. Their goal was to ensure one thing and one thing alone - that Raila Odinga did not ascend to the presidency. As Uhuru Kenyatta prepared his bid for the presidency in 2013, his team were acutely aware that the biggest hurdle to overcome was Raila, a seasoned politician who had already won the 2007 presidential elections (the real figures seen by this writer show by a significant landslide) but had yet to occupy State House.

Data Analysis and the 'Tyranny of Numbers'

Among the strategies they employed was the use of advanced political data analysis, primarily sourced from British specialists. The data confirmed that Raila was an imposing figure in the media, dominating the airwaves like a colossus. The team realised that to beat him, they would have to dethrone him from this position of influence. This gave birth to an ahead-of-its-time social media strategy, with Ngunyi providing the core ideas and Itumbi executing them aggressively across various platforms.

The strategy's most potent weapon was the propagation of a narrative known as the 'tyranny of numbers'. This narrative was used to pave the way for manipulating the 2013 polls in favour of Uhuru. The Kenyan populace was led to believe in this 'tyranny', and as a result, were far more accepting of the election results that handed Uhuru the presidency, despite claims of rigging.

You may remember it, a narrative that swept across Kenya during the 2013 elections, a seemingly harmless theory that turned out to be a cunning plot. It was the 'Tyranny of Numbers' theory, strategically proposed by Mutahi Ngunyi and spread far and wide and solidified on social media by Dennis Itumbi.

The Tyranny of Numbers

It was a simple hypothesis, yet stunning in its audacity. According to Ngunyi's false theory, the presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, stood no chance of winning without the Kikuyu vote. Now, this was where the craftiness came in. The incumbent, Uhuru Kenyatta, already had the backing of both the Kikuyu and Kalenjin votes, thanks to his running mate, William Ruto. The subtext was clear: Raila was destined to lose.

On the surface, it was just a theory, but the implications were profound. It was a clever manipulation that aimed to sway public opinion, and it worked wonders. The narrative was so convincing that it became accepted as fact, tilting the scales in favour of Uhuru.

Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other.
- Oscar Ameringer

How the Theory Played Out

In the grand scheme of politics, this was an ingenious play. With the 'Tyranny of Numbers' theory, Ngunyi and Itumbi built a psychological fortress around the Uhuru camp. They created an impression that defeat was inevitable for Raila, thereby encouraging voters to side with the 'winning team'. This psychological manipulation undoubtedly swayed millions of voters to Uhuru's side. In Tyranny of False Narratives Chris Kumekucha lays bare all the backroom "movie" scenes and describes them in great detail. Starting from The Chancery office that was full of mzungus staring into computer screens to the dirty tricks that unraveled deep inside State house. Even as Kenyans on both sides of the political divide were completely unaware of what was really happening which was going to impact us all in a very major irreversible way. And then there was that unforgettable scene of Itumbi disconnecting Uhuru Kenyatta's calls several times, when he called the first time, not believing that it was indeed Uhuru calling.

The Fallout

However, such crafty political manoeuvres often have a sting in the tail. The 'Tyranny of Numbers' theory is today more or less debunked as a myth, bringing into question the integrity of its proponents. Yet, it served its purpose, and the elections were won.

Although it may seem like a distant memory now, the 'Tyranny of Numbers' saga serves as a stark reminder of the power of perception in politics, and how easily it can be manipulated by crafty players like Ngunyi and Itumbi. So the next time you encounter a seemingly harmless theory, remember to scrutinise it carefully; you never know how it could shape the political landscape.

Can the same political trickery be used to save the Ruto presidency?

Politics, the crafty game of strategy and manipulation, is nothing if not unpredictable. The strategies that worked in yesterday's match may not work in today's. But who's to say they won't, especially if we're talking about the masterminds behind the scenes - Ngunyi and Itumbi being back on the same team (after the recent dramatic announcement by Ngunyi that he was now back in the Ruto camp. Can the same political trickery be used again, this time to secure the Ruto presidency?

In politics, stupidity is not a handicap.

Understanding the Art of Political Fixing

"The key was always to make Raila seem like the problem and not the solution. The narrative that was spun was that he was a man of the past, a relic from an era that Kenya had moved on from," says a political insider.

This narrative was then reinforced through a series of tactical manoeuvres, from strategic alliances to media manipulation.

Can The Same Strategy Work for Ruto?

Deconstructing the fixing of Raila provides some intriguing insights into how the same strategies might be used to secure a Ruto presidency. Could the same political trickery be used again? That is the nightmare of a vast majority of Kenyans.

The answer to that difficult question will shine through when you read Chris Kumekucha's latest book, Tyranny of false narratives.
