Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed an Infotrak opinion poll that indicated he was trailing his main challenger in the August presidential race Raila Odinga.
Yet just 5 short years ago Ruto and his boss Uhuru were mysteriously always leading in polls against Raila Odinga only for the 2017 elections to reveal the hidden truth.
And so we need to ask what Ruto's motive and endgame here really is. Especially in the backdrop of some incidents happening to those closest to him like the anti-Rigathi Gachagua rebellion within UDA and the Aden Duale drama in Garissa, captured on a video that has now gone viral.
