Over the weekend of February 24-25th 2023, the nation of Kenya was abuzz with talk about the "Healing the Nation" Crusade at Nyayo Stadium, led by the renowned but controversial Pastor Benny Hinn.
It is widely acknowledged that Kenya is in dire need of healing as a nation, and crusades are a crucial means of addressing this need. However, the emphasis of this two-day event was different, evident in its marketing as a "healing the nation meeting" rather than a traditional crusade. While there is nothing inherently wrong with a meeting, it is important to be honest and transparent about the nature and purpose of such events, especially when involving a high-profile figure like Pastor Benny Hinn.
The government's involvement in this Crusade has been a topic of debate, with conflicting statements from the organizers and Pastor Benin himself. It is no secret that hosting an evangelist of this stature is a costly endeavor. And it seems that the government paid at the very least, a large potion of the bills.
But why was the government so economical with the truth? Whilst this administration has gotten a reputation for spinning everything well beyond the truth, surely this policy should not have been extended to a spiritual function. There are concerns that the government may be have approached this like any other political gathering, which would be a grave mistake.
The last time Pastor Benin visited Kenya in 2000, there were some notable incidents, including a last-minute change of venue from Uhuru Park to the University of Nairobi grounds, and the absence of high-ranking government officials.
However, it is worth noting that this time around, the current political climate in Kenya is similar to that of 2000, with a ruling party facing opposition and growing tensions.
Furthermore, the public nature of President Ruto's daughter's prayer request for a husband raises questions about the political motivations behind this Crusade.
In this season of judgment and exposure, it is crucial to be cautious and not use the name of God for personal or political gain. The healing of a nation is a serious matter, and it should not be taken lightly or manipulated for personal or political gain.

Now in case you didn't know it, the kilimani area has a lot of plain clothes policemen doing patrols virtually all the time. And that is not all. The input from the CCTV cameras in the area are being monitored all the time and this is not heresay or information from a trusted source.

The result is that any footage that may have been taken will be practically useless or of little value to anybody seeking the truth.
What all this information tells us is that the people who took the sugar magnate were not your usual criminals. They must have been State operatives. That is NOT a rumour, it is precisely what the evidence is telling us.
