Is Raila Odinga secretly grooming Edwin Sifuna as his successor?
There are an excessive number of stories concerning Raila Amollo Odinga's succession in the Kenyan media.Who will take Raila's place? Who would be most suitable to fill Raila's enormous political shoes? The headlines are screaming nonstop.
Furthermore, I find it all to be incredibly repulsive, and more significantly,
it is a calculated error for anyone hoping to follow in Raila's footsteps. It
is actually frowned upon in the majority of African customs to talk about your
father's succession plans while he is still living and serving as the head of
the household.
Let's be crystal clear about this right now. Raila is not done, and he is not
going anywhere. Mambo is a nasty boy. Therefore, nothing will change, and in my
opinion, it is all trash, even if the Kenyan media keeps pushing the narrative
that there is a handshake between Ruto and that this is occurring because Ruto
is warming up to Baba.
More so because, despite all of this drama, the person most likely to succeed
Raila in the future is extremely quiet and stays out of the succession
discussion. Rather, the man is occupied with enhancing his online persona; we
will talk about him shortly.
I want to warn you of something very crucial first. The Itumbi guys are now
free from self-imposed exile, and I'm happy that a lot of the Kumekucha Chris YouTube channel regulars
have already identified them. These boys get paid $20,000 per month to sabotage
political conversations on social media, including my channel.
The atmosphere in my channel's comments section has been incredibly clean for a
while. The opinions of the majority overpowered the Itumbi boys, and they
vanished. The views of Kenyans overshadowed them.
Allow me to clarify. Itumbi's sons prospered in an era when few individuals
truly held opinions, and those who did often lacked the emotional fortitude to
voice them. Then Ruto did something that made people come out and say what they
thought. Could you make out what it is?
To put it another way, people were reluctant to comment when Kenyans' pockets
remained unaffected. Ruto then reached into people's pockets. harsh taxes and a
high cost of living brought on by the policies of this administration. In this
world of yours, all you have to do to get someone to react is to touch their
money. Try touching someone's money, and even the most reserved person—who
typically says nothing—will open up to you and share a wealth of information.
There will be fire.
Because of this, the Itumbi propaganda lads and their fictitious social media
personas—of which they bought roughly 100,000—were unable to stem the tide of
outrage among Kenyans. However, they have returned with a plan to sabotage
business as usual, and among their strategies is persuading Kenyans that
Agwambo has grown more amiable toward Ruto. Additionally, Raila needs to persuade
Kenyans that he is leaving the country to run for the same AU position or that
he is leaving the local political arena altogether. It's odd when you consider
that those AU elections are scheduled for February of 2025, 2025. And the year
2024 is still upon us.
Since I am tired of those unpatriotic Kenyans who care more about their money
($20,000 a month) than they do about their country, I must admit that, for the
first time in my long career, I am obsessive over the delete button and the
option to prevent people from leaving comments on my channel. All I wanted to
do was inform you of that.
Currently serving as the ODM party's secretary general, Edwin Sifuna has a
bright future ahead of him. Edwin Sifuna of Wiper would actually defeat Kalonzo
Musyoka in an election held today, with Sifuna winning by a wide margin.
Sifuna, in my opinion, has very cleverly moved past the perception of being
just a Raila acolyte to become a political figure in his own right. Moreover,
Edwin Sifuna was constantly present in the middle of proceedings during the
maandano, in contrast to other personalities who were being presented to
replace Raila. There were a few well-known individuals absent who believe they
are superior to Sifuna. I haven't named any names, so please don't throw stones
at me.
You know, some political analysts from the Mulembe Nation—that is, those from
Luo Nyanza—will have seen that Sifuna might be the one to realize the prophecy
that the Mulembe nation will ascend to the president through Lake Victoria.
The fact that Edwin Sifuna's ascent occurred during a period when the most
well-known figures in the Luhya Nation severely disappointed their people is
extremely remarkable. Individuals such as Bonny Khalwale, whom Sifuna has
repeatedly "destroyed" on regional political television programs.
Luhya leaders that we believed to be rising stars, such as Cleophas
"Shackles of doom" Malala and others, have truly let the Luhya people
down at a critical juncture.
Thus, Edwin Sifuna's star has gotten considerably brighter in this milieu of
self-centered Luhya leaders, and it is becoming increasingly obvious that this
is a politician to watch every day.
A discerning political analyst will also point out that Raila had a major
difficulty holding the position of ODM secretary general for many years prior
to Edwin Sifuna taking over. This man represents ODM as its face today.
intelligent, eloquent, and he just doesn't talk mindlessly. In case you missed
it, Sifuna is also rather astute and tactical.
We are all in very good, safe hands if Edwin Sifuna is truly the future of
Kenyan politics, in my opinion. even people who do not belong to ODM. even
individuals who oppose the opposition.
The fact that Sifuna was born about three months before a significant,
historically significant political event occurred in Kenya makes me incredibly
happy. And here is the failed coup attempt from 1982. Thus, in August 1982,
when Edwin Sifuna was only three months old and still in diapers, Bonnie
Khalwale, a different character, was making a big announcement on KBC endorsing
a brief military takeover by the Kenya Air Force. (Incidentally, that was an
intelligence operation rather than a coup. Check out my highly detailed video
on my YouTube channel to learn all the specifics of what happened and why it
was all so important.
As Sifuna was growing his first milk teeth in 1982, Bonny Khalwale was a
University of Nairobi student. You'll see why it makes me happy to see Edwin
Sifuna give Bonny Khalwale some fascinating historical lessons on this sultry local
TV show.
I can say now that, in my political analysis, I always listen very carefully to
Sifuna when he speaks. Since he's an Insider, I haven't made a single mistake
by accepting Sifuna's word for it thus far. Baba is not going anywhere, as
Sifuna has informed us time and time again in the past few days. Therefore,
perhaps you should pay a little more attention to Nairobi Senator Honorable
Sifuna if you're one of us who would want to obstinately persist on believing
newspaper headlines.
Sifuna's patience and his steady ascent up the ranks are two other qualities I
like about him. Johnson Sakaja defeated him in 2017 for the Nairobi senatorial
seat. Sifuna received 674,000 votes in the final count, while Sakaja received
811,000; this translated to 42% of the vote for Sifuna and 51% for Sakaja.
However, some people think that those weren't the actual outcomes for 2017.
They contend that although Sifuna did win those elections on his first attempt
at competing in a national election, his votes had to be lowered primarily
because Raila's votes in Nairobi had to be lowered in order for the election to
be rigged in favor of Jubilee's Uhuru Kenyatta. I tend to agree with those who
belong to this school of thinking.
Regardless, he proved to be unstoppable in 2022, which is why he is currently serving as a senator from Nairobi and is performing admirably in that role. Despite his unwavering support for Raila, he is a very visible member of the uncommon issue-based political community and does not merely act as a spokesperson for Raila.
I firmly believe that Kenyans should completely disregard the nonsense
political analysis about Raila's retirement that we see in the media, among
other reasons related to this politician's record.
A seasoned soccer striker is set to score, but everyone is preoccupied with
talking about who will replace him. Among those preoccupied with this are the very defenders who should be close to the goal, preventing him from scoring.
Not sensible at all, not at all.
