UDA Rebellion Against Ruto: Is It Real?
As I finished editing this video, word came through that UDA deputy Chair Kipruto Arap Kirwa had resigned and joined UDA where he was warmly received by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua.
This seems to confirm the persistent reports that DP Ruto is battling to steady his UDA ship amid a serous rebellion led by politicians who have always been close to him and do not hail from the Rift Valley. Actually the tension within UDA started long before the current crisis triggered by the Rigathi Gachagua nomination to be the Kenya Kwanza Deputy President candidate.
